Come on people, use the brain God gave you! Man coexisted with Dinosaurs, that's the only logical explanation.

For what? For the fact that dinosaurs existed, yet a stupid fucking book reckoned man was made on the 6th day as the acme of creation 6,000 years ago and the pitiful desperately want to believe it's true?
Do you even have a drawing board to go back to?
Nah, I think I'll use the brain evolution gave me. It's telling me that you, Scarlet Crusader, are a fucking retard.
Why "logical"?
>No dinosaur bones have ever been found buried with or above human remains in undisturbed rocks.
>Radiometric dating has never yielded a date of less than 65 million years for a dinosaur or more than a million for a human.
>There is no geological evidence for a world-wide flood
>astronomers have found stars 170,000 light years away, despite the Bible's assertion that there were only 42 generations between Jesus and the creation.
How does one get "logical" out of "Man coexisted with Dinosaurs"? And if this guy is an "orthodox Catholic", why does he even care? The Catholic Church has no problem with an old earth.
No, but you, Screwball Crusader, are determined to avoid the best logical explanation.
The "brain" g0d gave you, i.e. the bible, fails real big. A well-educated and well-exercised human intellect, on the other hand, will never be fooled by bronze-age superstition.
Tell us what defined the Cretaceous-Tertiary extinction event, please.
No? Then, shut up.
Logic and Fundie are mutually exclusive.
Also, if puny man existed at the same time that dinosaurs did, we wouldn't be here. Munch munch munch.
Hey, Crusader, the white-coats are coming for you.
*edit* White-cats? WTH was I writing?
fail. Just so we are clear on this. The Bible NEVER states that the earth is only 6000 years old! This was a theory espoused by Bishop Ussher. The Bible says nothing about the age of the earth. So, the problem is not in the bible, but the idiots that mis-interpret it.
Scarlet Crusader sounds like a Poe. Sure, I've heard fundies say piles o ridiculous illogical garbage, especially IRL, but something's a bit off with Scarlet Crusader's comments.
Michael: I would say Ussher was an idiot - just wrong.
So you shouldn't say "the problem is not in the bible, but the idiots that mis-interpret it. " but rather "the problem is not in the bible, but the idiots that get other people to mis-interpret it. "
Come on, you think they actually read the thing?
Nope, there are many others.............that don't match with Genesis, but, hey, what does?
I've heard a Coptic Christian refer to himself as "Orthodox" once.
Confused the heck out of me, too. I'd always though of "Orthodox" as referring specifically to Eastern Orthodox Christianity.
When god handed out brains, you must have been behind the door.
Edit: LadyDeath, that picture is, like, the best thing evar!
Spock: Captain, this man's use of the term 'logical' is not logical.
Kirk: Yes, Spock, but he is a fundie.
Spock: Fundie? Ah - a fundamental Christian?
Kirk: Yes. Fundamental as in 'of or pertaining to the ass'.
Spock: Then logic demands...
Kirk: Yes - set your phaser to 'kill'!
You appear to have been given the brain of a slime-mold. So really, it's the brain God gave YOU, here, that's dysfunctional, not ours.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
