Quote# 32271

I disagree, I believe God is in the process of doing a great work again in America. This nation was started on the principals of the Bible. It's laws, and process of governance, is a direct result of the great Christian men who gave up so much to make America what it is. I think America, and more rightly, Americans have allowed God to be pushed from discourse for too long. America is at a time when we need God to interveine on our behalf. Isn't it obvious how far we've allowed the A.C.L.U. types to dictate the course for America, against all that we believe. Christmas used to be a time of rejoycing, but, it's now reduced to political correctness so no one feels bad about seeing the real reason for it, the birth of the savior of the world. If I blame anyone, it would be the very Christians who stand by and allow it to happen before our eyes.

America is at a time when we need God to interveine on our behalf.

What, you don't think God can decide when it's time to intervene?

1) The ACLU types routinely defend the religious expression rights of Christians and other religious people. 2) People are rejoicing at least as much as they ever did during Christmas, they're just not groveling at your preferred altar as much. Those aren't the same thing. 3) The real reason for the season is the pagan yuletide festival; the Jesus stuff is just a coat of paint slapped on later.

There, that was easy.

Hey dipshitfromjersey, the Yuletide season may have lost joy for you but this atheo-pagan revels in this season full of joy. That you don't celebrate the way you want to is nobody's fault but your own.

I bet the ACLU wishes it was as big and powerful as the fundies think it is.

Do you think any of these parrots know what the ACLU actually is or does, or is it just a bogeyman their pastor told them about?

I can spot a Bill O'Really viewer from smell alone. Historical revisionism favoring Christian extremism? War against Christmas? A.C.L.U. paranoia? These are definite Fox News O'Factor talking points. Must have been Billy "O" himself.
