Also, you have to take into consideration that demons can effect the thinking of so called men of science to deceive them. We already see so many areas that people are deceived in, because they do not accept the truth of the Bible. So if they are deceived and in error in a area we can observe them in, then how can they be trusted in areas that we are not as knowledgeable in?
