We, especially as Christians, must begin to take America by the horns and demand change. It is our responsibility as God’s reforming agent to confront the world and declare Christ as King, requiring that every area of life submit to his Lordship. For he alone can perform the surgery America so desperately needs in order to truly become “America the Exceptional.”

I am an American citizen. I bow to no one. I acknowledge no one's lordship (imaginary, dead, or otherwise) over me.
I live under a contract with my fellow citizens and with the rest of the world called the U.S. Constitution. My fellow citizens and I use a tool called the US government to implement our will and our objectives among ourselves and with others.
We are, collectively, "America the Exceptional" if you wish.
Personally, it's a bit of a stretch considering the stuff happening the last seven years.
I am not a american, I have been a exchange student in USA. I dont mean this as a insult toward americans.
Still I ask, compared to the rest of the world, Exceptional, in what?
I had no problem with the phrase "USA is number 1" It left room for questioning, and gave the impression that there is a benign race, of who is number 1. Term "The Exceptional" in essence says, "nothing you will ever do, will get you to our level" this makes me ask Why would I want to be at your level?
No offence, but only thing truly and officially exceptional about usa, is the unbelievable amount of debt.
After reading countless fundie posts, I feel a need to commend The Paleocrat for having a grasp on spelling and grammar. Sadly, those are the only things based in reality that he does have a grasp on.
but whose rules honey?
Xian, jewish, muslim, hindu, olympian, asgardian, etc.....
Until you can prove the one true god you can't claim exclusive rights
And to imagine I was telling Christians that we need to take a serious look at the fact that our nation is at crisis level on issues such as suicide, drug use, divorce, out of wedlock marriage, single parent families, sexually transmitted diseases, and abortion. Heaven forbid! haha
Oooooh, it's that whole "requiring that every area of life submit to his Lordship" bit. Ah, you got me on that one. Believed it then, believe it now.
