Jezebel's Evil Sister
Trust me, it's evil demons. It's always evil demons. And they're going to rip off your face and suck out your soul while you sleep.

Poor thing. Ok she's pretty dumb for buying that shit but her pastor sounds like an evil demon to me.
12/15/2007 2:51:37 PM
It's just demons, dear.
Just relax, we haven't finished the shock therapy yet.
12/15/2007 2:52:36 PM
Demons. The only way to get rid of them is through spending thousands of dollars through your church or some other venture.
12/15/2007 3:08:40 PM
Your pastor is a jerk, it's obviously demons in your

Your pastor is an evil demon. Reject him and all his nefarious teachings. And you will be saved from your nightmares.
Go back to school and learn. Learn as much as you can and apply it in your life. There's a whole world out there you can explore and play in.
12/15/2007 3:31:20 PM
Well you'd better be careful. People with nightmares are destroyed in hell over and over. Their skin is ripped from their bones, and demons eat at their innards. The scream in agony for all eternity. And the vilest demon of all Satan will scorch your skin, and piss acid into your throat, as others scream and write in unending pain around you. This is your fate.
Good luck with those nightmares!

Your pastor can't possibly be wrong. Just shut up, stop thinking, and do whatever he says.
12/15/2007 3:53:08 PM
Relax, Lily. From that single comment I deduce that your pastor is one of the most ignorant people on the face of the earth.
12/15/2007 4:01:53 PM
It's probably the pepperoni in you.
12/15/2007 4:17:29 PM
Papabear for the win.
12/15/2007 4:31:20 PM
This isn't fundie; this is just very sad!
This poor kid probably doesn't know any better and is seriously being taken advantage of by an asshole, abusive pastor, and perhaps by the entire church. Constant night terrors are a sign of a emotional disorder and can be treated by a doctor.

Speaking as a former Pastor, I'd say it is demons. Let me ask you a question? Do you ever wake up, only to find your sheets wet, and a gooey, sticky substance covering your groin area? If so, you must immediately go to your pastor and tell him you are possessed with "Nocturnal Emissions." This demon is a wily one, as it places unsavory thoughts into your subconscious mind while you are sleeping. If not dealt with, you may begin to think about these thoughts on a daily basis, and eventually act out on them. Yep, you got demons, alright.
12/15/2007 5:01:49 PM
Oh, Lily, please find another church. Your preacher isn't helping at all. That is completely improper pastoral counseling.
12/15/2007 5:06:26 PM
by faith alone are you saved (according to your flavour of fundiness).
Your pastor is speaking through his bum - probably a power trip
12/15/2007 5:19:01 PM
Your pastor is a fucking ignorant moron. Go to a therapist, to find out why you're having nightmares. It doesn't matter whether you're saved or not. It's YOU.
12/15/2007 5:20:50 PM
you have to be baptized a Roman Catholic for it to count, then you can ask the saints for help or don't eat cheese or chocolate before you go to bed.
12/15/2007 5:40:36 PM
It's not the Holy Ghost or demons. It's undigested beef.
12/15/2007 6:24:21 PM
Her pastor's a cunt.
12/15/2007 6:42:45 PM
This is an argument for competency tests and psych evals for prospective pastors.
It is not outside the realm of possibility that your dreams are trying to tell you something. However, they are definitely not caused by demons.
12/15/2007 6:48:27 PM
It's demons alright, I saw one
12/15/2007 7:04:26 PM
Your pastor is an ass. Find a secular shrink who won't tie everything into religion.
12/15/2007 7:08:57 PM
You poor little girl. Please, if you take any lessons from us cynics here at this site, remember this; your pastor is not a psychologist. Even if you continue to learn Christianity, and continue to believe, never trust your pastor, who is human, to know everything about a subject he has no training for. Please, go to a psychologist, and get a second opinion. Any one of dozens of disorders could be causing your nightmares, and many if not all are easily treatable. It'll be less stress and worry for you.
12/15/2007 7:49:48 PM
It's posts like this one that make me sad.
Lily, I suggest not going to your pastor for things like this. Or anything.
12/15/2007 7:55:36 PM
Sounds to me like demons aren't near as evil as your "pastor"! I suggest you find another church.
