[This ENTIRE thread is an overload of stupid!]
What is evolution? It's a religious cult. The same religion that fueled the Panet of the Apes type fantasy. Evos are hopeful that this "scientific" process will eventually take place, making chimps grow smarter to eventually use as servants.
The biggest problem I have with their religion is that this process would take a very, very long time to take place. Probably millions. Life would have no time for this, as existence has been here for roughly 6,000 years (give or take a few). It simply could not have happened.

As far as I know, outside science fiction, nobody hopes to use chimps as servants. How do they come up with this stuff? Is this Poe or something?
And yes, evolution does take a long time. Did you figure that out all by yourself?
Seeing as how we've been here for MUCH longer than 6,000 years.. there's absolutely no problems with the evolution question.
Oh.. and just so you don't make yourself look like a bigger idiot in the future.. evolution isn't a religion. Now please, get out of my gene pool.
1. Evolution is not a cult.
2. The process does take a 'very, very long time', hence the term EVOLUTION. It EVOLVES.
3. Life has existed for billions of years, except in your fantasy world.
4. You're a dickhead.
Apes? My my, they're messy and inefficient, obviously this fundie hasn't heard of our secret plans to put souls in machines and enslave THOSE... (sigh)
His other claim shows just as much ignorance, to boot.
Same old rant. Blah blah evolution is a cult, evolution is not science, crazy atheist satanic nazi popes blah smurfs are evil demons that attack me blah 6,000 years.
Except that this one has "monkey slaves" embedded in it. Very clever. But not truly innovative.
Drat and blast! Uberbeliever has discovered the dark secret of the Evo-cabal inner circle! It's always been about the monkey-butlers all along! I had to go to school for years before I got to put my name on the reservation list, Uberbeliever, so don't think I'm going to share my monkey-butler with you. You can wash your own damn underpants.

mdc, you win the Interwebs. I salute you.
"making chimps grow smarter to eventually use as servants.
"
This is necessary as fundies are not smart enough to be used as servants.
"Life would have no time for this, as existence has been here for roughly 6,000 years (give or take a few). It simply could not have happened. "
Unless your big book of mythology is wrong.
So....explain to me again how 2 people, with a MASSIVE bottleneck a couple millennia soon after, became 4 Billion or so, when just now are we getting more than a 50/50 shot of children getting to the age of 3, let alone to an age where they can reproduce AT ALL. Please, humor me.
You're in for a shock, Uberbeliever. Thanks to genetic engineering we will soon have an army of flying monkeys developed by our late lead scientist, the Wicked Witch of the West.
They'll be coming for you soon!
“What is evolution? It's a religious cult.”
Except it never has been. Too many people accept evolution AND worship one or another god in their formal religion.
"The same religion that fueled the Panet of the Apes type fantasy.”
Fantasy?
Dude, we already live on a Planet of Apes. Apes building cities, apes walked on the Moon, apes in orbit.
“Evos are hopeful that this "scientific" process will eventually take place, making chimps grow smarter to eventually use as servants.”
Did… Did you notice that the movies predict that’s a BAD path? There were serious repercussions? Why would we hope for that?
“The biggest problem I have with their religion is that this process would take a very, very long time to take place.”
You’re using a series of wacky movies, and a TV-show, as a complaint against the science?
Holy fuckknuckle that’s stupid.
“Probably millions.”
IIRC, there was genetic tampering to change the other four species of Great Apes in a much shorter time. That’s why it’s filed under sci-fi not documentary
“Life would have no time for this, as existence has been here for roughly 6,000 years (give or take a few). It simply could not have happened.”
It’s still fiction.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
