Quote# 325

[Arguing that God is definitely male and women are subservient]

If Jesus is God, then Jesus always has been, and is also the Spirit. (stay with me here) Jesus created man in his image. Woman was taken out of man's side and created. Man was directly created from Jesus, while woman was created from Adam's rib, Jesus created woman out of his already existing creation. He created both in his image: (woman) was created with God off of (man) who was created by God who is Jesus. [...]

Jesus has always been a male, if He is God. Regardless of how society developed, Jesus has always been male, and wouldn't change to be a female because He would be untrue to his true form of male characteristics. The reason He was accepted by them and was able to liberate women as he did, was because Jesus created man and then created woman out of man's side through His(Jesus) almight power, and as such man was made superior over woman, and this became customary out of society. But I must stress this, Jesus is God, God has always been, God creates man out of his own image, and then creates woman out of the image of man and Himself, and Jesus is a male.

\"Woman was taken out of man's side and created. Man was directly created from Jesus, while woman was created from Adam's rib, Jesus created woman out of his already existing creation.\"
Well, in Genesis Ch. 2 he did, but in Genesis Ch. 1 male and female humans (both named Adam, curiously) were created at the same time.
Jesus \"was able to liberate women as he did...\"
Specifically, what did Jesus do to liberate women as a group?

I thought Adam was created *by* or *through* Jesus but *from* the dust? That leads me to think women are superior to men - we were created from flesh and blood, whereas they were created from dirt.

But if Jesus, god, whatever created man in his image and is exclusively male, and therefore had no female to procreate with until he created Eve as an afterthought, then WHY did he have a determined gender in the first place?

Maybe someone should tell freeborn women have approximately 900 more genes than men.

What's the biblical explination for that?

Lilith was also made of the earth as Adam was, and was his first wife until it became clear she was expected to be subservient. She left and Eve was made to fill the gaps.

This has always struck me a s a bit of patriarchal revisionism.
Some say Lilith became the mother of demons, I'd suggest she must have come here to Australia, because you'd search hard to find less subservient group of women.

Basically all I understood from this is that Jesus has never had a sex-change operation.

I'm a little confused. Why would an all-powerful god need to have sex organs? I'd imagine your god would be asexual with no need for something as primitive as a penis to procreate. So exactly how do you determine a gender? Also, is there a lady god for him to get down and dirty with?

Jesus sounds like a real man's man. I wonder if he had a big cock?

Well, prove that the Bible is true, and you might actually have a point there.
PS:It's actually a myth that men have one less rib then women, and even if it were true, it would be more likely that the person who wrote that part knew about this and was trying to explain it.
PPS: God supposedly created the first of all other species poof out of thin air, so why did Adam have to have surgery to create Eve?
PPPS: If we are all descended from 2 people, why isn't the whole species inbred?
