Well, I for one agree with what was said about people getting over it.
This junk was all started by the ACLU, which all of them should jump off the highest bridge they can find. They are nothing but trouble makers.
And also Communists.

One of the dumbasses on that thread says the Founding Fathers did not know of any other religions. Apparently they hadn't come into contact with Buddhists ideas through the spice trade, Hinud ideals through tea trade with India, Muslim ideals through war with northern Africa (see Treaty of Tripoli) and contact with southern Spain (see your common sense if you have any). They obviously never heard of non-Christian religions since studies of history had never mattered to them. I mean honestly now. This is the dumbest shit I've read in a long time.
The ACLU are advocates for the First Amendment.
And also Libertarians.
So, if you are legally challenged in the US for the ridiculous bullshit that you spew, remember that the ACLU are automatically on your side.
The ACLU is just a bunch of lawyers. They don't make laws. The legislature does that. When the ACLU thinks the law is being violated or the law itself is illegal, they complain to the court. They don't decide the issue. A judge or jury does that. Complaining about the ACLU is shooting the messenger.

And doodoo heads.
Oh, yeah, and dirty sinners, too.
In fact, in One Word; They just plain don't like Jesus.
And that's all.
Except they're also heathens.
"They are nothing but trouble makers."
Well, true. They are lawyers, after all.
An old philosophy instructor of mine once said "if the ACLU won't defend you, then..." and I don't remember the rest of the quote; basically, though, if the ACLU won't defend you, it must be because you're a complete fuck-up.

They do have a somewhat left-wing bias, however.
For example, they fervently protect the First Amendment, but aren't too hot for the Second Amendment.
Confused?
