These fundtards tend to think that mental illness is either due to demons or sin. The unfortunate thing is that some of these fundtards do work in the mental health field.
Since only fundies are afflicted by demons, it is correct to assume that they are "nuts."

Disregard all the research and studies that have been done on mental health. All that mumbo jumbo on chemicals and stuff, the demons put the chemicals there. We can spill oils on the mental patient and chant a few things to drive out the demons and balance out the brain chemicals. Because Jesus said so. And it wasn't a voice in my head or a demon faking it. It was really Jesus! Jesus loves chemistry as long as you don't actually study what the chemicals are doing. Jesus says it works so it has to. He teleports chemicals in and out to make it perfect, when the scientists aren't looking, because he's sneaky*.
*But not really sneaky. Jesus gets to define sneaky, and excludes any act of Jesus from the definition.

Well I guess homosexuality doesn't fit the criteria for demon possession, seeing as how people are actually born with it.
Now religious fundamentalism on the other hand is something one is not born with, it is something that is learned. Therefore, according to catherine, religious fundamentalism essentially is demonic possession.
I'm glad somebody finally cleared that up! :)
