Considering one of our first acts as a country was an act of dissonance towards an oppresive government that we did not agree with, I have to say they are probably more patriotic than the far right. And both sides do what they can to maintain power. When you say my country right or wrong, you are no patriot. You make others hate the country, justify the hate and what comes to the country as a result. Those that want others to know why we love this country and to understand it makes mistakes but that the people in it do care for others would diminish the hate.
