\"Christians who lie are going against their own belief system\"
that doesn't seem to stop them, does it?

What belief system?

First of all, going against your belief system is a bad thing, and second, Atheists don't have a belief system.

Okay so at least you're going against your own belief system right now. Also, stop disgracing the name Socrates, either shut your chubby typing fingers up or change your name to 'Lyes4Jeebus'.

I never knew I had a belief system, let alone one that made me think it was okay to lie

We don't have a belief "system", fuckwit. We have moral compasses.

My belief system is that i should treat people the way that I'd want them to treat me.
What's yours, "I'm gonna behave the way they told me so I don't burn"?
2/19/2008 2:56:44 PM
I myself picked up my morals through family, society, Grimms fairy tales (and other fables) and marvel comics. I'm a hell of a lot more trustworthy than creationists or some religious people I know.

"No true Scotsman", it seems. You can't just say that a "belief system" works a certain way and a very large percentage of people who are supposedly following it are actually working against it without any sort of express guidelines.
"No true moral person"? Doesn't quite fit...

Sounds to me that being restricted spiritually is kinky to fundies. Anyone who dares act freely is some sort of damn animal.

Socrates is dead.

No, they aren't because ATHEISM ISN'T A BELIEF SYSTEM.

you don't deserve that username.
