( On the subject of flood story)
However you look at it --- myth or otherwise, made-up, true, false, guesswork, assumptions, hypotheticals, junk theology, twisting the facts, outright lying, literal interpretation of the Scriptures, figurative interpretation of the Scriptures, cult explanations, philosophies, crackpots, cracked pots, or crock pots; I know one thing:
Science didn't do it.

For once, we agree on something, AV. Of course, your idea for why science didn't do it is because you believe God did it, while my reason is because IT NEVER HAPPENED!
The argument against the flood is easy if you're willing to read real books and listen to actual geologists. Unfortunately, most fundies are unwilling to do this. So, why not pose the argument of the repopulation of the animals instead. How the holy hell did Noah manage to collect and return animals to the continents of America, Australia, and Antarctica before those continents had even been discovered by Western people? No fundie has ever had an answer to this except to say "Oh, God is great and can accomplish anything." Not an answer!
After weeks of intensive searching, I'm pretty sure AV is a Poe.
I've been going back over his posts, and lately they seem self-defeating in a manner only achieved by the truly incoherent or the intentionally absurd.
Of course, he could just be a raving nutter. I'll have to do more research to find out.
So, you've got your big old Science - big deal. I still have my myths, guesswork, assumptions, hypotheticals, junk theology, twisting the facts, outright lying, the Scriptures, cult explanations, philosophies, crackpots, cracked pots, and crock pots - so there.
I win. Nanner nanner nanner.
"However you look at it --- (...blah, blah, blah...) I know one thing:
Science didn't do it."
I agree. I also know that unicorns, communists, God, the easter bunny, Santa, Satan, the makers of jello, and the Detective Vic Mackey didn't do it either.
your right, science DIDN'T do it, because its scientifically imposible for the world wide flood to have actually happened, you idiot.
Science doesn't DO anything, you pusillanimous pea-brained protuberance!
Get this through your thick skull:
Science is not "our God."
Science and God are not mutually interchangeable ideas.
Science and God are not even analogous to one another.
You're not just comparing apples and oranges here, you're comparing apples and Renaissance architecture.
Got that right.
It merely dismisses it as fable.
It also doesn't claim ownership to the story or aspects of it so,,, what win do you think you've pulled here?

So?
Science doesn't do what never happened in the first place.
...and you admit that the 'Flood' never happened, therefore your entire 'Belie fs' are exactly that: a lie .
However you look at it.
Subjective 'opinions' not allowed, y'see. Reality happened, what your BuyBull 'claims' didn't. We Atheists are eternally right, you fundies will always be wrong in perpetuity. Deal with it.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
