Since when was truth not welcome in Creationism?

Since when? well let's see...
Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Since the 4th word of the bible.
Hope that clears things up.
Hahaha, well, ah, probably for me the time a certain git decided to proclaim he wouldn't read anything we linked to. Then kept telling us we were wrong.
But I suppose truth has a really specially meaning for you, despite it usually being lying for Jesus...
Actually, those of us in the realm of science wish truth were more welcome in Creationist minds. Specifically, the truth ascertaining to the existence of a Big Bang, the age of this planet at 4.4ish billion years, and the plethora of fossils as but one indication of an evolutionary process. To the contrary, 'truth' has presented completely unwelcome conclusions to the creationists, and hence our disdain for the philosophy.
Since it rejected scientific fact for woo-woo patristic mythology based on some incredibly boring old book. Now, that's not "since its inception", but at least within the last 50 years or so. I mean, even the Puritans had room for science, and so do the Catholics (for the last few centuries!). So where does that leave you?
Creationists love the truth:
Truth (trooth) - n. pl. truths : Anything it says in the King James Bible. Syn. "Word of God". Antonyms: science, anti-scripture.

No no, Gwenyfur, you're spelling it wrong:
"truth" = things that are actually true
"Truth" (with a capital T) = whatever the King James Version of the Bible says.
EDIT: Dammit, John, you beat me to it by 3 posts!
Creationism ? Truth.
Never has, never will.
Since creationists like Kent Hovind and Jack Chick, and an endless onslaught of creationist trolls online, started using the quotes of actual scientists plucked out of context in order to attempt to prove some sort of point.
So, you were saying?
I am not sure what you mean by "truth."
My main beef against creationism is its blatant disregard for facts, evidence and objectivity. I am also rather irked by the gross dishonesty which is demonstrated by creationism's main proponents.
Again, I'm not sure what creationists mean by "truth." However, their definition clearly has nothing to do with facts, evidence, objectivity or honesty.
Since well before they attempted to rebrand creationism as "intelligent design" by using a word processor to remove instances of the word "God" and replace them with the word "Designer" in order to try to get them used in public school.
See also "cdesign proponentsists."
Confused?
