Look up the 'Old Hag' or 'Succubus' phenomenon. It's a waking dream you nit. It's also known as hypnagogic/sleep paralysis. As others have said, it could also be sleep apnea but since he kept saying, 'get it off, get it off, it's choking me' I'll stick with sleep paralysis.

Yeah, sure. Strange that I never have any problems with demons, goblins, ghosties or other supernatural things pestering me. Then again, I don't believe in them. Funny how they have no power to interfere with you at all once you stop believing in them.

All your hollering and carrying on probably woke your husband up completely thereby bringing an end to the experience. Your Jesus did nothing since it's a completely normal physiological condition to begin with that ended due to your ranting and raving waking your husband fully.
