Situation: discussion on on-line forum this is pseudonym "elämä opettaa" and his answer to argument that said there is not a single evidence of God on the whole planet Earth and here is the quote:

Either you are just being quite obtuse here (perhaps deliberately), or you are trying to be clever and not doing a very good job of it.

As you say, an atheist has no god. That's because he defines all gods as nonexistent. Why is this concept so hard for you -- and so many other fundies -- to grasp?

Just because an atheist doesn't believe a god or gods exist doesn't mean he can't mentally express the concept or grasp what others mean by it. We can also discuss Thor, Osiris, leprechauns, unicorns, magic spells, demons, and Klingons -- but that doesn't mean that we believe that any of these things are real.

Atheists, as a rule, aren't stupid. We know what a god is. Many of us have a better knowledge of religion than a lot of fundies. Often that's a good part of why we reject the very concept as ridiculous.

Yes, but not for the reason you expect. Your use of the word "logical" to describe your thinking is a serious error in any language.

It´s a him (pseudonym "elämä opettaa"), according to himself somewhere in the conversation. Over 6000 messages, I´m not gonna find the message number for you, but trust me, this is a guy.

To rest of you guys: in finnish language, third person pronomin is "hän". "Hän" can be male or femala i.e. it can mean he or she...

"Hän meni saunaan. " In English it translates "He went to sauna" or "She went to sauna", depending on the persons sex, of course. If the identity of the person is not known, then the translator has a problem. Finns do not have any problem with that;)

We also do not find it weird, as do very many foreigners studying finnish language.

Anyways, the reason for posting this is obvious. US of A is not the only place where these whackos breed.

I would love to see more posts all over the world. So pls pass the URL to friends, to finns, and you must know some swedes and estonians as well...I know I do.

Please post, especially If you can find posts (In Nordic and Baltic countries) about things like world being only 6000 years old and humans living side by side with dinosaurs....They always crack me up!

Younger I wanted to follow Jesus, but my irreligious parents did not let me attend religious events. This caused me deep traumas, that took a long time to get over. Also I didint want to believe the "facts" taught in school about evolution, although my parents believed them.
