Quote# 33935

I did not even know what being a humanist meant. I was only sixteen, and the brain doesn't even start developing until about twenty.

Kent Hovind is still waiting for his brain to develop, apparently.

This jackass claims he used to be a scientist? Bullshit!

This does an excellent job of explaining the semi-vegetative mental state of the folks at Teens-4-Christ.

So you probably don't have a moral dilemma with abortion 19 years post partum.

I...what?

I have an ebil liberal arts degree and even I learned in Anthropology that the personality is mostly formed by 20! By the time you get out of childhood, in fact, most of the brain is already formed and cannot be "unformed"; that is why children who never learn to speak as a child never can as adults, why you should learn foreign languages and musical instruments at a young age, etc.

Of course, Anthropology is probably evil! to religious fundamentalists, but still...it's true!

"I was only sixteen, and the brain doesn't even start developing until about twenty."

Sometimes never, as you so aptly display.

I knew what a humanist was when I was sixteen, but my brain started developing prenatally.

wait....so being under 20 is an excuse not to learn anything/look stuff up? I only have a couple months left to use this information to get away with not studying!!!

You still don't know what being a humanist means, Kent. You don't know anything about anything.

Y'know, I was about 6 when a Baptist preacher gave me a very important lesson (by example):

some people achieve an insane level of stupidity around when they reach adulthood.

Obviously Mr. Hovind's brain never developed. Anyway, I think he might have meant frontal lobes without knowing anything. If this man was a scientist then schizophrenia and a stroke for good measure hit the sorry sob.
