I’m sorry, but I do not pray for the Palestinians.
They had their land taken away because the UN countries felt they should have their own nation, but couldn't be bothered to give any of their own land (there are lots of good sites for potential new settlements in Europe and the Americas both, but oh no, they had to land it smack in the middle of where it would be the least welcome). They were driven into refugee camps in the hundreds of thousands in the war that started right after Israel's creation, and four million of them live as refugee. They are now brutally oppressed. And you don't pray for them?
Jesus said in Mat 7:6 "Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls before swine. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces."
Feel that Christian love! What happened to 'love your neighbor like yourself' or 'turn the other cheek'?
My prayers are sacred. They are pearls not to be given to swine. The Palestinians hate Christians. The Palestinians hate the Jews.
Good thing you don't hate them back, then. We'd get an evil circle where the fanatics of Christianity, Islam and Judaism competed to hate more than their enemy, and we'd end up with bigotry, missile attacks, suicide bombings and a War on Terror with the armies of Christianity and Islam fighting killing each others by the thousands.
They are the enemy of God and Israel.
They believe in the same God you do. And what if they're enemies of Israel? It's not like Israel are enemies of them, or that Israel and the UN stole their bloody land.
They would kill you or I given the chance because Allah told them that it is OK to do so.
The Old Testament, held sacred by both Jews and Muslims, commands believers to not only kill non-believers, but also to destroy their cities and salt the ground so that nothing will ever grow there again (Deuteronomy 13:13-17). Moses himself killed 3000 of God's 'chosen people' for worshiping a golden calf (Exodus 32:19-28). Does that mean every Chrisitian and Jew out there is secretly plotting to destroy every city in the world with nonbelievers? I don't think so.
Yes, pray that all come to know Jesus and be saved, but to pray for those who God hates and will destroy is IMHO a waste of prayer
Oh? I would think that the ones destined for destruction were the ones who would need prayer the most?
