YEC ... Biblical Creationism ... is not a religion, which is why it doesn't fit a definition of religion. It is the promotion of the proper scholarship of God's infallible Word ...

Yep, Youth Earth Creationism is not a religion. To call Youth Earth Creationism a religion is an insult to religions. And I say that as an Atheist. I oppose the world religions, but none of the world religions deserve something like YEC.
Okay, if you want to call biblical creationism "the promotion of the proper scholarship of God's infallible Word ..." go right ahead.
Just don't try and call it science.
Except that the 6000 year old Earth that YECers have accepted isn't a scholary work as most of Usshers numbers are completely made up. To fudge the results towards an already established Catholic dogmatic figure of the Earths age.
This is only a scholarly approach to people who believe priests can do inspired works with Gods direct assistance. Please stop this shit. Christianity has provided no answers to anything. And the Fundamentalists of America, the only Christians to believe Usshers nonsense today (Catholics have wrote it off)have only adopted it in recent decades as a counter to the Theory of Evolution.
It's not only religious dogma, it's actually not supported in Scripture but most fundies accept it because they'll accept anything that discounts science.

...which is why I'm contacting the IRS. Right-wing Fundamental ist Christainity in the US has a lot of taxes, backdated and with interest , to pay back, if your 'belie fs' - "A personal relationship with Jesus Christ" - aren't a religion, then. >:D
Therefore we haven't heard from the likes of Derpy Sherpy here. [URL=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitzmiller_v._Dover_Area_School_District#Decision ]Certainly as this was just two years before a landmark case which destroyed any & all arguments in perpetuity.[URL]
Confused?
