1. You don't see how quoting the Bible proves anything? Hmm...well, I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and every jot and tittle is there for a reason. 2. Yes, the Bible IS a science book. It is full of science, and I recommend you listen to the teaching by Chuck Missler titled "In the Beginning there was Information"... 3. If the Sun is not a star, then the qualities of our Sun do not apply to stars. Assumptions about other stars being like our Sun, inherent in the Big Bang theory, are thus faulty.
