[After being told repeatedly there was no "first human"]
I know better than to waste my time with "scientists." In my opinion, evolution teaches a monkey gave birth to the first human, and if this is how you justify its denial, have a good day.

Your book teaches that a snake, lacking vocal cords, was able to speak (and actually told the truth, unlike your god).
Have a good day.
In my opinion, I am the rightful God-Emperor of the Universe, and I hereby appoint AV1611VET to be my court jester. If you don't want to watch my jester's adorable antics, have a good day.
It's someone else's theory. Until you have some idea of what the fuck you are talking about, you don't get to have an opinion. It's the way it fucking works.
"In my opinion, the theory of gravity teaches that we are all held down to the surface of the earth by little gnomes under the ground pulling on invisible strings."
State your 'opinion' all you want, it doesn't make it true, and it just makes you look increasingly ignorant.
"In my opinion, evolution teaches a monkey gave birth to the first human"
Your opinion is wrong. What a surprise.
It's worth noting that AV's OP for the thread is the following:
"According to evolution...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't evolution teach that something non-human gave birth to the first human?"
He was corrected (dozens of times), and still comes up with this gem.
Oh good lord---EVOLUTION DOESN'T FUCKING WORK THAT WAY. No scientist in the fucking WORLD will tell you that evolution means a monkey gave birth to a human. The only people who say that are the ignorant fundie bullshit artists!!
"Most Fucked-Up Interpretation of Evolution" award needs to be made JUST for this post.
oh, and @[b]Snopester in Exile:
Yes, this guy is for real. Scary, isn't it?
"In my opinion, evolution teaches a monkey gave birth to the first human"
Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion, but not their own facts. Facts are facts and your opinion of what the ToE says is not factual.
Opinions =/= facts
'nuff said.
An highly human-like monkey gave birth to a highly monkey-like human.
Well, technically they were bipedal apes who looked like humans.
In my opinion, evolution teaches a monkey gave birth to the first human,
Which isn't what any scientist who remains well-respected in the scientific community has ever said. It's just your opinion.
and if this is how you justify its denial, have a good day.
Nono...as you said, it's your opinion, not any scientist's, and you are the one one justifying the denial of your own opinion. You aren't listening to anything scientists are saying.
But, then, you do the same thing when you talk about your Sky-daddy, so I guess there's no real use in talking to you about that , is there?
Snopester in Exile: No, he's for real. Very real and very scary.
Øyvind: I sincerely wish you were right.
Alright, fair enough.
In that case, in my opinion, the Bible says leprechauns wear Hawaiian shirts.
See? Anyone can play this game!
"In my opinion, evolution teaches a monkey gave birth to the first human."
And you're a boatload of WRONG.
The truly beautiful thing about reality, is it isn't a fucking popularity contest!
Oh and no doubt in your opinion, you think you actually have the first clue what you're talking about...
*sigh*
In his mind that thread probably started out as a cunning plan to trap evolutionists....
But he got all butthurt in the end and ran...
The truest form of fundies...not just ignoring reality, actually running away from it..
Isn't it fun to forget that the modern monkey did not evolve into humanity. Also that humanity did not evolve suddenly. It took millions of years for the ball to get rolling in our direction, a common ancestor gave birth to something a little different, witch gave birth to something a little different, etc. etc.
AV, nobody needs to justify a denial of your opinion. From my perspective, your opinions come with a little note taped to their backs, "Kick me."
if you were actually a smart person you would realize that evolution does not in fact teach that a monkey gave birth to the first human, but different species of monkeys as well as humans evolved over millions of years from similar creatures that do not exist today. saying that a monkey gave birth to the first human is to presume that monkeys as we know them came before man. this is incorrect. evolution is not exclusive to human beings, chimps also evolved from more primitive beings. the reason christians get this confused is because they do not realize that evolution does not follow a linear path, but takes one species and over time makes different modifications, and the result is multiple species with similar evolutionary backgrounds (ie: humans and monkeys).
i do not blame you for thinking evolution is bogus with such an ignorant understanding of it. if i understood that two monkeys mated and had a human offspring i would think it were total bullshit. i feel sorry for you, i hope you open your eyes and your mind someday and realize that your church fed narrow-mindedness is the cause for your lack of knowledge.
have a good day :)
Do I have this right? Instead of facts about evolution, he has a mere "opinion" about evolution that he then decides is unbelievable?
Well, in my opinion gravity really means that instead of being pulled down, I am actually being pushed down from above. That is stupid, so gravity is stupid.
Does anybody else feel an aneurysm coming on when you read what fundies have to say about just about any topic?
Your opinion of the way in which evolution works is, well, horseshit. Thus, what you think on the subject doesn't count. Nobody ever said that a monkey gave birth to a human, although some of the postings on fundie forums makes me wonder if the reverse isn't sometimes true.
Well your opinion is wrong.
But then, you are AV1611VET, being wrong is your specialty and the only thing you are any good at.
Confused?
