[On the rapture being a totally ridiculous, implausible idea]
'True until disproved'
The thoughts and idea of a rapture is no more far off then your guy's idea of evolution.

No, once again, it is the one with the extraordinary claim who has the burden of proof. Believe me, I look forward to having fundies prove the rapture by disappearing!

'True until disproved'
Shitty grammar aside, you're wrong. The burden is on the extraordinary claim to prove itself right.
'True until disprpved'. That goes for Zeus, Odin, Buddah, Aruseus, et al. Not just for your Christian god.
'True until disproved'
I'm sending the police to your house to arrest you for murder. You're to remain in prison until a) they execute you or b) you prove that you're not guilty. Hey, true until disproved, numbnuts.

@Rahab
It's not.
OK, it is, if you use your secret John Darby/Scofield decoder ring to take obscure words in Daniel and John, link them together, and create the varient of Christianity called "Premelinial Dispensation".
But you really need the decoder ring to find it.
At first glance this seems incredibly stupid. However it gets more stupid the more you think about.
We don't know how the world is going to end, thus it MUST be the rapture. Even if 'True until disproved' was even somewhere in the realm of logic, it doesn't support the rapture in anyway. You could literally use it for ANYTHING, and the above quotes have pointed out. If anything, it's an argument against Christianity, as even if all unknowable/unknown things had equal chance of being true, the odds of Christians going to heaven and sinners going to hell via god is incredibly unlikely as literally ANYTHING else could happen.
Nope, still at the rapture being a totally ridiculous, implausible idea, I'm afraid.
It's innocent until proven guilty, stupid. In other words accusations are deemed false until proven correct.
The ToE has been proven again and again and again to be scientifically sound, and there are literally tons of evidence in favor of it.
The rapture is barely even Biblical "fact", is it?
Confused?
