My point is that if these scholars' research is so impressive ( be they mormon or non-mormon), why do we find that our educational systems around the world do not accept it as 'actual history' and validate such scholarship by presenting it in an acreditted 'history' course?

If you're so interested in history, do some research into the history of rapture. It should be easy, as the concept does not stem back to the time of Jesus.

Or is that not "actual history?"
