Really now? Even the stuff about Adam and Eve? That kinda lessens the whole message, doesn't it?
2/15/2008 4:38:12 AM
Umm, the Babble had everything put in by man.
2/15/2008 4:38:35 AM
What happened to the bible being the unaltered word of god?
2/15/2008 4:47:07 AM
"Dammit Father, the masses just aren't buying into this new-fangled Bible thing."
"You're right, we need to pep it up a bit, give a bit of pizazz, remarket it for the younger generation."
"I've got it! We'll put some jiggling hooters in it!"
2/15/2008 4:47:54 AM
So when Genesis explicitly says that Adam and Eve were naked and only clothed themselves after they ate the fruit from the Tree of Good and Evil and whatnot, it's wrong?
2/15/2008 4:48:00 AM
If man put in that much, just think of all the other things he put in... how can you tell?
2/15/2008 4:55:33 AM
No, the Bible is the inspired work of God and everything in it is either true or false....
2/15/2008 4:58:18 AM
The nudity was not there simply because it was censored out of some bibles.
Other than that, if the real Creator were to truly inspire a book, it would actually make some human sense. But the bible is obviously flawed. Either an evil mortal clusterfuck of a job, or a thoroughly misanthropic soul-eater of a god.
Nudity? Does reality hurt you that much?
2/15/2008 5:14:33 AM
Er, Tommy... man put everything in the bible...
2/15/2008 5:15:58 AM
Well, dang. If my Bible had included a centerfold and some other illustrations like that, I might have spent more time reading it. Well, looking in it, anyway.
2/15/2008 5:23:20 AM
In the bible god wrote, Adam and Eve were actually created already wearing dark blue business attire, right?
Damn, yer retarded, son.
2/15/2008 5:57:14 AM
I'm going to back away very slowly and not make any sudden movements...
2/15/2008 6:14:45 AM
Well Mr. Carder, I think you're partly right.
I think man put lots of things in the Bible. Like probably all of it.
2/15/2008 6:22:20 AM
The Bible: Man's 945th edition of God's words
2/15/2008 6:23:29 AM
Good start. Not just the nudity, though, is it?
2/15/2008 6:24:29 AM
Well, at least they are starting to realize that man is the one putting stuff in the bible. One day, it might dawn on them that the whole fucking thing was written by men.
2/15/2008 6:34:16 AM
BUT.... BUT..... I THOUGHT THE BIBLE WAS THE INFALLIBLE WORD OF GOD :o
Well that just does it, if the sex was put in there by man, what the hell else was, everything? So why should I believe that any of it is the word of God?
I'm not sure how to rate this one, on one hand he hates the nudity in the bible, on the other he admits that the bible has parts that aren't the spoken word of god..... how to vote, how to vote, how to vote......
2/15/2008 7:10:04 AM
He's right. God didn't write the Bible, man did.
2/15/2008 7:12:12 AM
Umm? Isn't there something in genesis about Adam and Eve going around nude, eating some kind of forbidden fruit, then realising they were nude and being ashamed? Someone, please correct me if I'm wrong.
2/15/2008 7:18:55 AM
Ooo, a fundie on the road to truth? "Man put nudity in the Bible".. just keep going... Man wrote the bible... c'mon, you can do it!
2/15/2008 7:22:25 AM
Meh...so much for the bible being the inerrant word of god...
2/15/2008 8:17:18 AM
I see. So, man put the nudey bits in. Who, to be punny, inserted the bits about Lot fucking his daughters?
2/15/2008 8:29:13 AM
The only true christian is a nekkid one. God is infallable so don't you dare cover up what he created.
This is actually one of the first logical errors in this religion that kept me from ever taking it seriously, a looong time ago.
2/15/2008 8:33:20 AM
But I like to look at the pictures. Especially the nice hot sexy men and women getting it on. Mmmmmmmm

I have been enjoying the... unique movie reviews offered by this site for some time.
The only good review I have found thus far (out of hundreds) is: 'The Baby Miracle 'Noah's Ark'':
'This video developed for infants and toddlers with 33.17 minutes of actual programming, excluding 20 seconds of intro and one minute four seconds of credits and including the two minutes ten seconds of song at the end, presents a delightful and light-hearted tour [...] the Great Flood "cleansed" the Earth of those who were disobedient to God.'
So that's where 'ethnic cleansing' comes from.
Anyway, despite the reviewer's, uh, impressive attention to detail, I would question its rating of:
'Murder/Suicide (M)- none noted'
WTF? The planet's entire bio-system is systematically exterminated and... oh, never mind...
