Uh... to the extent that "The Jews" were responsible for anything, it was their government's fault alone, selling out someone they considered an annoying nobody to the Romans to keep Pilate (a notoriously brutal governor) from dropping the hammer on them. (If he was so important, why did it take twenty years after his death for the first documents mentioning him to be available?)

tho, if they didn't kill Jesus (and likewise if Judas didn't betray him), your entire faith would not exist because he would never have 'died for our sins'. the biblical hebrews were simply fulfilling their purpose. your own bible says that. and the Pope actually agrees with this, seeing as he issued an official statement removing the Jewish faith from all responsibility in the death of Jesus.
