The charges are fraudulent, as are most tax laws, and Kent was unjustly improsed as a means to shut him up. The actual SCIENCE couldn't shut him up, so they had to play dirty for their religion of Evolution. I can't wait to see Kent back out, but take heart Kent, many prayers are with you, and your work is still having a massive ripple effect. After Kent's material, I've been digging deeper and deeper through many rsources, and its true: real science completely refutes Evolution, and the communists simply can't allow that knowledge to prevail against their plans. Your day job must be working at a horse stable.
"Kent was unjustly improsed "
He deserves what he gets after writing all that crap he writes.
After a person has been tried in a court of law and found guilty, the conviction can be overturned if enough people sign a petition?
The justice system doesn't work like that!
The charges are fraudulent, as are most tax laws,
How can a law be fraudulent?
real science completely refutes Evolution, and the communists simply can't allow that knowledge to prevail against their plans.
Communists? The cold war is over, and your side won, so why are you still so mortally afraid of your former enemy? Just another victim of hyper-propaganda creating an all-encompassing pathological fear of communism, which leads you to conclude that it's the cause of all the world's ills?
BUAHHHHHHHHH.....communists... what? still hyper paranoid from the days that fearing that the "REDS" come after you???...
*Fundie hysterically points out at USSR*:OH NO USSR COMMUNIST INVASION!!
*Intelleigent person hand in face*: USSR doesnt exist anymore u arse... its now Russia Federation...
end of scrip.
"Kent was unjustly improsed as a means to shut him up. The actual SCIENCE couldn't shut him up"
Nothing can shut him up. Just because he is a loud-mouthed moron does not mean that anything he says is correct. He is unable to engage his brain [if he has one] before his mouth starts motoring.
"your work is still having a massive ripple effect."
Yeah, the same way that waves cause sea sickness.
No BrainFoot, you are fraudulent. Your lying creep of a leader is a crook, a tax-cheat, a trailer park degreed fraud, and (worst of all) a liar in court after "swearing on the Holy Bible to tell the whole truth". How does it feel to be owned by a common swindler posing as a religious leader and be gullible enough to fall for his scam, and even worse, be stupid enough to keep falling for it? You really need to look hard in the mirror to see what a total dumbass looks like.
Don't you think if we evil commuevolutionists had him sent to prison to shut him up, we'd have arranged for him to be stabbed by his cell mate? I mean, if we have the brains and the means to get him arrested for tax evasion and found guilty at trial when he's done nothing wrong, we can't be stupid enough to simply let him walk out again at the end of his sentence.
Next time you're going to throw around random accusations because your hero is a tax dodger, think it all of the way through, and you might realise it makes you sound stupid.
There are thousands of creationist preachers around. One of them is in jail on tax charges. Pretty ineffective means of shutting them up, don't you think?
Also, if you want to investigate whether real science refutes evolution you have to read some real science. It's pretty clear you haven't read anything other than creationist BS.
Yes, tax laws are fraudulent. Heaven forbid we have roads, public utilities, public buildings, schools, parks, or any form of civilization above crude shanties in the woods.
The whole anti-science, anti-tax, anti-government BS makes me think Brian Foot spends his days planning meetings for one of those crazed militia groups.
Communists?
Communists?
No, no, Mr. Foot...
America is a democracy.
That means that a handful of politically minded people elect the unnecessary middlemen, who then vote for the king.
the king reigns as long as he likes and does whatever no matter what he promised or how the people feel about it.
Then if the middlemen like him enough, we can tell them to vote for him for another 4 years.
America is what we call a Blue-Pill Monarchy.
He is not a martyr. He is not persecuted. He broke the laws, and now he's doing the time. If an atheist, a Buddhist, a Muslim, what have you, did the same thing, they'd be in the clink too. His science is laughable. It's an endless parade of strawmen, and wild speculation. If someone is rendered speechless in one of his debates, it is not because of his superior knowledge.
I had alook on the Free Hovind site, the home page just says,
'FreeHovind.com is dedicated to Kent Hovind - A well known Creation Science speaker, debater, and evangelist. On January 19, 2007, Hovind was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Hovind's wife, Jo Hovind, was later sentenced to 2 years.'
It doesn't state why he was imprisoned so many morons like Brain Foot will think he is a political prisoner, to be honest Kent is no Nelson Mandela!
But putting Hovind in jail hasn't shut him up. Nothing shuts him up! He's a veritable cornucopia of stupidity.
And he disobeyed his own holy book, which he claims is the actual words of his god. So I'm sure he's exactly where he belongs. Clearly Kent believes no tax laws anywhere are fraudulent, since they are the work of divinely appointed rulers.
Don't be a sinner, Brian, go with God's plan and thank Jesus for sending Kent to the big house.
I know I do.
Can we start a counter petition insisting they keep him in? I'm terrified Kent will see this site and mistakenly believe that anything he could ever say or do would be of any possible value to anyone, anywhere, ever.
Big Bubba frowns upon efforts to free Kent Hovind and keeps shanking him harder and harder as a result. The prison guards simply ignore Kent's screams for "deliverance" from the monstrous meat of Big Bubba.
It's easy and fun to make shit up and present it as fact.
Nobody's forced to pay US taxes. All they have to do is leave. But if they choose to stay here, then they have to abide by US laws. Hovind made the same kind of ridiculous, far-fetched arguments against the tax laws that he makes against evolution. The courts ruled him wrong repeatedly. There are plenty of other even more vocal creationists around, like Ken Ham, the head of Answers in Genesis. In fact, Hovind mostly just repeats their rhetoric. They're not in jail because they pay their taxes instead of using phony tax-protester arguments that were shot down in court years ago. Kent wouldn't be in jail, either, if, like Wesley Snipes, he had just shut up and settled with the IRS when he lost the first time. The IRS doesn't mess around with tax protesters.
Amazing
One of your leaders openly steals and lies (remember those pesky 10 commandments that us ATHEISTS don't believe in?)
But a woman gets shit kicked by her husband and you tell her to get back in the kitchen.
You people are so full of shit, you stink.
You'd think scientists have better things to do, like furthering mankind's understanding of the world around us...
Hovind is a tax cheat. Nothing more, nothing less, at least in the eyes of the law. Scientists are impartial when it comes to the law.
The actual science shut him up long ago. And the current secular law said that he had to pay taxes and be consequent with his way of life. Guy, we don't live in a theocracy(and even if we did, he still would have to pay taxes)
It's not like Hovinds stuff wasn't eligable for tax free statis (which is scary ) but that he never applied!
Con-men avoid papertrails.
Free Kent Hovind!...nah still don't want one!
You made a few spelling mistakes. Let me help here;
"The charges are fraudulent, as are most tax laws," should be
"The charges are fraud"
fundamentalists delenda est
WTF is there to gain from lying?? All such lies will be found out, there isn't a payoff, there is no value at all! In fact, proof of ID, 6 day creation would be something welcomed by anybody who sought an afterlife.
I'm starting to think fundies have a plan. It is to make such rigoddamndiculous claims of persecution to keep people from talking about things that are less funny to talk about, like how religion is the opposite of persecuted, it's practically government sponsored. Why don't churches pay taxes? I think they should have to. Only monotheistic religions are allowed tax exempt status. That seems pretty unfair to me, and a I'm not a Hindu. Also, things done in the name of atheism. I bet that's not tax exempt.

That's actually a perfect example of using Kent's own style against him.
Just spout shite, confuse the opposition and before they can state their position, randomly move on to something else.
"Does you eat bananas?" - priceless!
"Was it you what left the floater?" - comedy gold!
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
