Lucy is only one of several a. afarensis fossils found. Their limbs, teeth, etc. are all between those of a chimp and a human. The ankle joint is very similar to a modern human (a chimp's isn't). Breaking bones doesn't change their relative sizes.

Piltdown man was a hoax discovered by science itself. And they found other material which is authentic and validating. That you don't understand what it's about and you can't interpret it correctly, doesn't mean that it's not valid. Moreover, it indicates your smugness and arrogance. For one thing, if you think they're indoctrinating you for teaching you science, you'd better switch off the computer. Remember that it can't exist without the trash that they indoctrinated you with.
