I feel so bad for children being brought up to believe something like that is true. It took me almost 20 years to weed out all the trash my teachers put in my head when I was in school. And it was all that... TRASH
Piltdown man.... hoax.
Neanderthal man... pig teeth
Lucy.... smashed chimp....false
Gran Canyon.... millions of years of erosion.... false. WATER CANNOT FLOW UPHILL! But it can undermine a mountain in a matter of hours with a huge earthly upheaval like a great flood.
The only thing that created this world was a creator. The only thing that could possibly hold it all together is a creator. And he knew one day, people would come along and try and prove otherwise. That is why real math, real science, and real human logic shows evolution for the exercise in futility that it really is.

"Piltdown man.... hoax."
Correct. So what?
"Neanderthal man... pig teeth"
No, that one's real.
"Lucy.... smashed chimp....false"
No, that one's real too, regardless of how much willful ignorance you subscribe to.
"Gran Canyon.... millions of years of erosion.... false. WATER CANNOT FLOW UPHILL!"
And if anyone was trying to say that it did, you'd be right. Except for your spelling.
"But it can undermine a mountain in a matter of hours with a huge earthly upheaval like a great flood."
A flood is not an "upheaval." Nor can one "undermine a mountain in a matter of hours," no matter how much water it contains.
You fail. Big time.
6000 year old earth... false
Garden of Eden... No evidence
Noah's ark... Not only impossible to build with 2700BC tecnology, there is jack shit evidence of it.
And while we're disproving outlandish claims,
Hovind's Ice Canopy... My left testicles have more intelligence than him.
I feel so bad for you... It took as 20 years to cram in all that knowledge into your head. I am only glad you wasted 20 years pulling all of it out of you.
Piltdown man - A hoax from 1950s...
Neanderthal man - Nope. Tis legit. We have plenty of neanderathals including some "preserved" ones.
Lucy - Its not a "smashed chimp"... It was more than a chimp since it had tools on it.
Grand canyon - I don't even know where to start on what is wrong.
Look its simple. We say "this is the law that governs this and this is how it works". You respond with "NO IT DOES NOT! Because it would invalidate the fact that the world is not held together with a creator".
Neanderthal man ... pig teeth? WTF? I think he means "Nebraska Man", which was hyped in the popular press but was quickly discredited and never accepted by most scientists.
Lucy is only one of several a. afarensis fossils found. Their limbs, teeth, etc. are all between those of a chimp and a human. The ankle joint is very similar to a modern human (a chimp's isn't). Breaking bones doesn't change their relative sizes.
Funny, all I have to do is change some of your words and the same applies to me. I was raised christian by the way.
"I feel so bad for children being brought up to believe something like that is true. It took me almost 20 years to weed out all the trash my PARENTS put in my head when I was NOT at school. And it was all that... TRASH"
Adam & Eve... crap
Noah's ark and the flood...horseshit
Son of God being born of a virgin...what the fuck?
The Devil...uuummmm...no
We all know that Piltdown man is a hoax, textbooks from this century all say so.
Neanderthals were real (and it is arguable that they were more intelligent than our ancestors).
Why am I doing this? This is a true exercise in futility.
I'd like to know how the Grand Canyon was singled out. Why doesn't the whole freaking planet look like that?
It has been established that duct tape and baling wire "holds it all together".
I'm with John: "Nebraska" =/= "Neanderthal".
"The only thing that created this world was a creator. The only thing that could possibly hold it all together is a creator."
So, you're saying someone supposedly omnipotent made the earth, but then did such a crappy job he has to stick around to hold it together?
Piltdown man was a hoax discovered by science itself. And they found other material which is authentic and validating. That you don't understand what it's about and you can't interpret it correctly, doesn't mean that it's not valid. Moreover, it indicates your smugness and arrogance. For one thing, if you think they're indoctrinating you for teaching you science, you'd better switch off the computer. Remember that it can't exist without the trash that they indoctrinated you with. Be consequent at least.
Piltdown man.... hoax.
Your right, nobody's debating that one. If you find someone teaching that this is real, let me know
Neanderthal man... pig teeth
Hmmm.... the only references that I can find to this is fundie sites, but if a Christian says it's so then it must be right????
There was a "Nebraska man" that turned out to be a pig tooth, I think your confused.
Lucy.... smashed chimp....false
Ummm.... Fail, her bones are much more human like than a chimp.
Gran Canyon.... millions of years of erosion.... false. WATER CANNOT FLOW UPHILL!
WTF???? There's a river that goes through the Grand Canyon now. It doesn't flow uphill. WTF are you even talking about.
So wait a minute: You were given a decent education in geology, biology, and physics, but you intentionally pulled all the knowledge out and replaced it with nonsense?
Well, I guess that proves it. Fundamentalism isn't a choice, nor is it an enviromental phenomenon. It's genetic. That's the only reason I can think of to explain this. His genetic stupidity established itself from within, and pushed all the other knowledge out.
If only there was a cure for this debilitating condition.
I feel so bad for children being brought up to believe something that is true.
I swear, this is how I first read the sentence.
Neandertahal man; pig tooth, Lucy; smashed chimp, You were not taught that in a real school. I doubt Piltdown man was ever taught as It's only interest IS that it was fake.
These are fundyland tales.
And how is it they get varifiable stuff wrong but completely buy into the Giant Human skeletons that are long ago proven fake.
Gran Canyon.... millions of years of erosion.... false. WATER CANNOT FLOW UPHILL! But it can undermine a mountain in a matter of hours with a huge earthly upheaval like a great flood.
The Colorado River took over 2 million years to carve the Grand Canyon. A flood, even your fictional global flood, wouldn't undermine a mountain in hours. Regional floods don't take down smaller hills, unless they're made of soft material like sand that can be carried away. New Hampshire's Old Man was taken down (the stone face, not the whole mountain) in one night by ice wedging, not by moving water.
All of the stupidity in this post, and it gets completely overridden by "WATER CANNOT FLOW UPHILL!". I don't even know where he got that pile of intellectual fail...
Oh jeez, you don't suppose he's grotesquely misinterpreting what a spherical Earth actually means, do you?
Too many FAILS to go through them all.
Grand Canyon: water was at the TOP, erosion started at the top and ate its way DOWN, you nitwit!
Piltdown man.... hoax.
Yeah, so? Just because RisingSonFan is an idiot doesn't make all Christians idiots.
Neanderthal man... pig teeth
WRONG! Thanks for playing, we have some lovely parting gifts for you. Just because you don't like reality doesn't mean you can just re-edit it.
Lucy.... smashed chimp....false
WRONG AGAIN! Not a single reputable anthropologist, biologist, or any other scientific expert (or even amateur ) thinks that Lucy is a "smashed chimp." Even a cursory examination by a total layman reveals that Lucy is neither "smashed" nor a "chimp."
Gran Canyon.... millions of years of erosion.... false. WATER CANNOT FLOW UPHILL! But it can undermine a mountain in a matter of hours with a huge earthly upheaval like a great flood.
I gotta tell ya....no one wants to hear about your Gran's canyon. But we would like to know why you think that science claims the Grand Canyon was created by water flowing uphill.
It took me almost 20 years to weed out all the trash my teachers put in my head when I was in school
I give up, was it by sniffing paint thinners or something?
Right. So we should take the word of someone who can't use punctuation properly over the word of thousands of expert scientists?
I think I'll listen to the people who know what they're talking about, thanks.
Gran Canyon.... millions of years of erosion.... false. WATER CANNOT FLOW UPHILL! But it can undermine a mountain in a matter of hours with a huge earthly upheaval like a great flood.
So tell me, please, how a massive flood would cause a carved, winding path, as opposed to, at best a straight line, and at worst, just a massive low spot. Hmmm?
Yeah, the Grand Canyon was formed by erosion... which means the sand and water went DOWNHILL, not UP, you muppet.
Wow, it's a shame you didn't stay in school long enought to learn something.
1. We know. Piltdown man was exposed as a fraud by scientists.
2. Neanderthals were real. I proudly share some of their genetic material.
3. Don't you go dissing my Aunt Lucy. She isn't a chimp and doesn't look like a chimp.
4. The land beneath the Grand Canyon has been rising for millennia. The Colorado plateau is a lot higher than the plains states. As the land rose, the river cut through.
Damn, you're dumb. Shoulda stayed in school.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
