I THINK fundies are, generally speaking, fucking idiots...primarily because they got suckered by a book full of lying bullshit. "Christianity", as fundies practice it, makes a mockery of any higher principle.

You people put what you want ahead of the bible all the time. The only difference is that a lot of people don't lie to themselves and claim that they're doing it because of their religion, not in spite of it.

Damn skippy, the whole world went to hell in a handbasket when the church stopped burning all the bible translators and allowed the bible to be printed in the vernacular! Reading the Bible leads to thinking about what is says, which is a complete sin!

For some reason the diction in that quote made me think the author was a woman. Not only is it a couple of GUYS who are picking on tessa, they start calling her "honey".

And yet, that's what it comes down to. "Moral relativity" may be an anathema among conservatives and fundies, but opinions differ from entire sects of Christianity to different churches of the same sect to different families of the same church, to different people in the same family. Who's right? Isn't it convenient that you are?
