Secularism is a religion. Ask any athiest. Their veins explode, which is evidence that you've offended their god. Agnostics are just people who can't make up their mind, kind of like a shopper at wal-mart who takes 20 minutes to park because he refuses to park anywhere other than the spot closest to the store. America's new "golden calf" is money and socialistic crusades. And America will go down with it, just like Rome. Good riddance.

-I always thought that agnosticism was the positive belief that any deity is unknowable, not negative fence-sitting. Still, kudos on fucking up a simple analogy

-Avarice and socialism are diametrically(should that be dialectically?) opposed. Besides, Rome (to borrow a phrase from Marx) "hung itself on its own excesses".

Just like every conclusion in science, every observation and every datum is 'tentative' in fact. Hence no single statement in the whole of science can be considered 'logical' by your criteria.

Which is bullshit. Agnosticism is a logical conclusion, it is not the only one. It is equally logical to draw a conclusion from the available evidence, accept that the conclusion may be subject to revision in the light of new data, but proceed as though the conclusion is accurate in the meantime. Which would be atheism.

Dan needs:
A dictionary so he can read the definitions of secular(ism?), atheist, religion, and agnostic. He did not get a single one of those anywhere near correct.
A book on economics to explain socialism as it relates to money. He got that exactly backwards.
A history of the Roman empire. The Roman empire ruled the much of the known world for twice the number of years that the US has been in existence. It also managed ALL of its major conquests when it was at it's decadent, pagan peak. It fell apart when it became Christian and moral. Again ass-backwards.
Good riddance would be to get rid of all the uneducated Right-wing dolts like Dan who unfortunately can vote and give us world class embarrassments like our current Presidunce and his war-profiteer veep.

Only if you're an effing Golden Meaner.

Look at the evidence - absolutely none on the side of gods existing, and mountains and even mountain ridges of evidence on the side of gods not existing.

Sure, there could be some deist-style entity who 'poofed' the beginning of existence and then left it alone. It's a remote, infinitesimal possibility, and it raises more questions than it answers, but it's possible. I guess. Such a thing would no longer interact with observable reality, and it would be improper to ascribe agency or desires to it.

The Christian/Hindu/Muslim/Pagan/Greek/Celtic/Qechua/etc. gods? Almost certainly don't exist, and never did. Their existence is absurd, and would contradict much of what we know about reality.
