evolution takes time, a couple million years. A being just doesn't just pop out a new being, no, the offspring have minor changes, then the next generation have more changes, these minor changes build up, and then you have the new species.

Hasn't it ever occurred to you that, were you to cycle through images of successive fossils following a particular evolutionary branch at an appropriate frame rate, it would be functionally identical to just such a video?
Come to think of it, that sounds like a pretty good idea - is there anyone on these boards with the skill & resources to do it?

Evolution doesn't work that way!
The change is subtle, like Ashton Kucher (however he spells his name) being born with webbed toes, or I only have 2 wisdom teeth instead of 4, and I have to remove them because my mouth lacks the space for them that our ancestors had larger mouths to accomodate them. Change over time is the name of the game, not sudden change.

The TV series 'Life Before Dinosaurs' did exactly that. In each episode was an animation or two showing evoution from primitive chordates through jawless fish, armoured fish, jawed fish, lobefins, up to amphibians, reptiles and mammal-like reptiles c/w an accompanying time-line spinning around.
It's bound to be out there on youtube but whether you'll ever get a fundie to watch it is a different question.
