As an archaeologist who's done extensive research into the Native Americans and the myth of the Noble Savage, etc, I can say with authority that you could not be more wrong if you had centuries to compose yourself.
114 million or more natives died between 1492 and 1600 alone, with millions more oppressed as slaves and marginalized as second-class citizens.
The natives on the reservations were promised by the government a century ago that they would get the deeds to their lands within 25 years. Most of those lands have now been sold, and the deeds "misplaced".
The FEW tribes with casinos can sometimes do OK, if there are few enough of them for the revenue split to be over a few hundred a month. The rest live in far worse conditions than they have ever had in their entire pre-columbian history.
The tribes with warrior societies have had to completely abandon their rites of passage that have been their traditions for millenia.
Many native languages are now extinct, even though many of those who would speak them still live. The languages were eradicated in Christian schools, where the priests/nuns/whatever punished them for speaking a language hundreds of years older than English.
Their traditional religion have been usurped by white Europeans who learned about them from Hollywood, and those Euro-Americans now run counterfeit religious cults based off half-understood ethnographies, causing mass disgust among true natives.
Their other traditions have become nothing more than a tourist attraction in most tribes, and any time they do something the white man considers "odd", they get mobbed by tourists wanting to see "Indian stuff".
I could go on for hours about the atrocities visited on cultures centuries older than many European nations. Suffice to say, go impale yourself up the ass with a rusty, AIDS-infected, burning, acid-coated, razor-sharp longsword. Right up to the hilt.
