[Rinji's siggie]

God is logical.
If he wasn't, then he would have created the grass before the light!
What is the probability God would have gotten all 7 days in the right order if he had no logic?
1 of out 5040 possibilities.

Read the last post, he did make the grass before the sun.

But not before the light.

As for Rinji, if the story stated some other order you would be insisting that that was the correct order.

Man created God, therefor everything man knew God "created"...how is this difficult?

I've always wondered, why don't the fundies object to such pagan names?

Knowing a bit about combinatorics doesn't mean you aren't an idiot.

So having several evenings and mornings before there was a sun doesn't constitute somethings being out of order?

Um, except he accidentally created light before the source of light, and he created all the stars separately from the sun even though the sun is one of the stars. And he never specifically bothered creating other planets, where did they even come from?

You do realize that our system of measuring time is extremely arbitrary, right? At one time, some people came up with decimal time, dividing each day into 10 hours, each hour composed of 100 minutes, each minute composed of 100 seconds. China used to use weeks called xun that were 10 days long, and they still do on some documents.

Ah i get it. He's trying to confuse "belief in god is logical" with "god is a logical guy". And he did probablity. I call poe.

Okay, being a mathematician, this is hilarious. Rinji got is prob by doing a permutation of 7 distinguishable objects. Except, the seven objects realy aren't distinguishable. Its like doing a 7 letter word permutation with 7 A's.

Furthermore, what he gives us is P(the weekdays are in correct order GIVEN that god exists and is illogical). Had he applied Bayes Theorem he would find that P(god exists AND is logical GIVEN the weekdays are in correct order)<1/3. That is with the extremely generous and unwarrented probability of god's existence being 1/2. Truely, though, probability theory is so abused these days. There are far too many unknowns to get a mathematicaly acceptable probability on the existence of god. Though, the more conditions brands of religion impose on their god, the fewer unknowns there are. Almost all result in an intersection that is the equivalent of an empty set.

If G is logical, then why does he have emotions? After all, he should just already know the future, know the logical steps to get there, and never ever get angry at any other outcome, since he already knew it was going to happen before he even started.
