Ya know, there are tons of things in the Bible that may not be 100% clear to us. We could have discussion after discussion about it all. But, we are to walk by faith, not by sight. If everyone was to question the things that aren't clear, I have a sad feeling that not many people would be serving God right now. We'd all be doubting God. We just need to take it on Faith and know that with God all things are possible!!!!!

Well I thought that was what the Pontifix Maximus (Pope) was for. If your lot became heretics and followed Luther's Sola Sripta and brought upon yourself the plethora of Bable versions as described in the tale of your own Tower of Bable, then you have to suffer the consequences, unfortunately so does the rest of the world.

The proper term, NessasMama, is thought-crime.
This has been your daily "The Christian god is really Big Brother" reminder. Please act accordingly.

You seem to be under the delusion people are as stupid and/or cowardly as you.
"If everyone was to question the things that aren't clear, I have a sad feeling that not many people would be serving God right now."
Great quote... Because assuming something so important is true is better than actually researching & coming back with a far more informed conclusion
"If everyone was to question the things that aren't clear, I have a sad feeling that not many people would be serving God right now."
Argggggg! This one seems too timid to ever become fully human. Life is scary! When you feel like a thought is about to happen, do something, quick!
I'm not bothered by those things in the Bible which are not clear, I'm bothered by so many of the things in the Bible which ARE clear... clearly stupid, unjust, violent or a combination of the three.
I always understood that doubt was an important part of the Christian faith - take the disciple Thomas, for instance, and the father who said "Lord, I believe. Help thou my unbelief." Being human, even Christian, is about questioning everything - we have intelligence, intellect and imagination. Or are these abilities amputated once someone becomes a fundie?
I have a happy feeling that not many people would be serving your God right now.
I don't even think people like this are sentient. Some people just pop out and believe the first thing they are told and can never be changed. They didn't look about and make a conscious decision, they were just brought up by their environment and reacted to it without question.
Also, another fundie who needs to RTFB:
Proverbs 18:17, "The first to present his case seems right, till another comes forward and questions him."
I.e. don't believe everything you're told.
"But we are to walk by faith, not by sight"
Blind leading the blind award, anyone?
Or is that the gullible following the stupid?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
