So- blowing up shit and killing people en masse is good for evolution? Ummm- I thought that an important part of evolution was to stay alive long enough to pass on your genes to future generations. I also thought I understood that dying off could lead to extinction, but I could be wrong.
After all, the fundies just KNOW that technology comes from the bible, that science has nothing to do with technology. I thought that technology was just an extension of applied science, but fundies are SO much wiser than the rest of us, so somebody like me that went to college to study engineering knows nothing about science or technology.

Actually, this isn't quite as retarded as it sounds. HY deserves some credit for at least arguing that the fundie terrorists aren't upholding the religion they are claiming to be acting on behalf of.
It's also worth remembering that 'Social Darwinism' isn't really anything to do with biological evolution, but instead argues that societies also change over time through competition between the social groups and ideologies within and between them. This is almost exactly what terrorists are trying to achieve. They are attempting to suppress or force a retreat in a competing society/ideology to advance their own.
This is more 'Social Engineering' than 'Social Darwinism' (the former being a course of action, the latter an explanation), but HY is right to argue that the terrorists are seeking to out-compete their opponents and mould society to their wishes.
So really, 'social' Darwinism is no more responsible for terrorism than biological 'Darwinism' is responsible for antibiotic resistance. Hence Harum Yahya isn't really being fundie here, he's just confused the proffered explanation of terrorism with its cause.
