Quote# 36207

Did you know a person's memories can be downloaded like a software program, the person killed, then an alien can take over that human's body with all his/her memories then uploaded so the dominating alien can 'play' that human? Think it's fiction? Think again. This is what is becoming known as being 'soul sheared.'

The soul-less stare, the black stare, the lights are on but no one seems to be home. Other names such as Robotoids, Automotons, Walk-ins, are all relating to the same phenomenon in slight variations.

Do you know, first of all, where is memory stored?, and why is it triggered?. It's funny, neither do scientists with precision. And they don't know if you can "download" it without killing the person and recovering, so, the information stored.

A completely batshit-crazy woman talking about the lunatic fringe.

You owe me a new irony meter.

I don't think all the computer memory in the world could hold the thought patterns of a single person. If, it were possible to somehow convert atoms into bytes.

3/13/2008 12:54:03 PM

Sounds like a great idea for a bad science fiction novel.

3/13/2008 2:43:00 PM

Ahh, so that's where all the fundies are coming from.

Empress of Zind

Lunatic fringe indeed.

The soul-less stare, the black stare, the lights are on but no one seems to be home

And I thought that was caused by staring at conspiracy sites on your computer for too long.

3/13/2008 8:54:56 PM

This girl recognises that is a lunatic, she confuses soul with cerebral activity...............smells like poe?

3/13/2008 8:59:49 PM

Old Viking

I didn't know that. I know if you keep your eyes crossed for too long they'll stay that way. My mom told me.

3/14/2008 12:24:38 AM

Wasn't this the plot of 'Body Snatchers' and 'The Thing'?

Chancellor Gorkon

No no no no no.

Someone is either on some serious drugs or else needs some serious help.

Darth Wang

What I don't get about all of these "OMG SECRET ALIEN CONSPIRACY" nuts, is that if an alien civilization had the technology to cross interstellar distances to Earth, then why would they bother with all of this infiltration and body-snatching Illuminati shit? They could just drop a few asteroids on major cities and demand our surrender, and there would be absolutely nothing we could do.

3/17/2008 9:36:48 PM

You know what I love about conspiracy theorists? Their prose may be purple, but their ideas are pulp-wonderful.

Blayze Kohime

How are they a duplicate if the personality is altered?

Wouldn't it be easier just to plug an electrode in their brain and remote control them?

Maester Seymour's Mother

'Walk-ins' are something else entirely, dumbass.

Grand Archblasphemer of York

Sounds incredibly likely...tell us more about things that have no basis in reality. I am literally all ears (as far as you know).

I'm hearing the "X-files" theme song in my head, as I read through this archive. OHMYGAWD ALIEN IMPLANT!!!!111

It's like we live as sims in a maxis game.

3/22/2008 4:29:02 AM

an alien can take over that human's body with all his/her memories then uploaded so the dominating alien can 'play' that human?

Wasn't this the entire premise behind the Animorphs book series?

who on this site was it that said a number of these CTers are either undermedicated, or over selfmedicating.
