In the document, called Fit for Mission?, Bishop O'Donoghue wrote: "The secular view on sex outside marriage, artificial contraception, sexually transmitted disease, including HIV and Aids, and abortion, may not be presented as neutral information."
He said "so-called" safe sex was based on the "deluded theory that the condom can provide adequate protection against Aids".
And he added: "Schools and colleges must not supuseful-port charities or groups that promote or fund anti-life policies, such as Red Nose Day and Amnesty International, which now advocates abortion."
Although sex education is mandatory in all secondary schools, Bishop O'Donoghue insisted that in every lesson - even science classes - it must be taught solely in the context of "the sacrament of marriage".

And also, smoking cigarettes is good for you, I'm telling you this because I care, and God cares too!
Evil twisted assholes.
Two British Catholic bishops on here in one day! Us Brits are certainly doing our bit for fundy stupidity, mores the pity.
As a product of a partly state funded UK Catholic school and the horrendously bad sex education that came with it, may I inform His Grace....
YOU PHAIL. HARD.
Sex has gone on outside of marriage since marriage was invented. How many children have been born 3 months premature (going from the wedding night) and "glory to god" they were completely healthy. Do you really believe that these were miracles?
Condoms do provide adequate protection against AIDS
It's amazing you people are so against artificial contraception, but artificial insemination is perfectly fine.
So, how does teaching sex within the parameters of the "sacrament of marriage" apply to protecting the kids from those pedophile priests?
Oh, right...they're not supposed to be protected from that .
Even science classes? Sure!
I name you Oceanic and Continental Plates. You may now subduct the bride.
(Silly, I readily admit. It's the first that popped in my mind when I read "science" and "sacrament of marriage" in the same sentence...)
Ya know what?
And the religions know it too.
Sex is natural and relentless for girls AND boys. It's been a natural drive since recorded history and before. If Religion can control that, and add rules to it, they got us.
By the short hairs.
They need a lot of stupid babies to propagate their religion

Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you.
I can understand not giving money to these groups- you're a greedy bastard and want it for yourself. But saying that no-one should is evil of the lowest quality. Die very slowly of malnutrition. May the aid workers who try to help you not have enough funds.
Also- of cource you couldn't possibly hurt anyone by standing strong on chastity could you? No one has ever been sexually repressed and gone on to do something actually morally wrong, due to your lies about something that isn't.
where the fuck do these prelates get off: marriage does't belong to the church, any church. It's a social convention based largely on the management of property, and only latterly having the human face
Firstly, AIDS is an achronym; it's not Aids, or aids, or anything else. Secondly, condoms do in fact protect against the transmission of HIV1 and HIV2 (the viruses that can cause AIDS) by a significant amount when used properly. I know you guys think you're all wonderful, great people and as such you can craft your own reality, but I hate to break it to you; bad things can happen to good people (or anyone else) so refusing precautions merely invites danger.
As an institution, marriage was established some time after the concept of paternity.
I observe that if a condom can contain gazillions of helium atoms under pressure without leaking (experiment performed), same condom could easily provide a barrier to all sorts of random microorganisms, which by definition are much larger than He atoms.
God-boy-in-skirts is simply fulla shit.
I'll indulge in a bit o' slippery slope here and mention that abstinence causes sexual perversion. Any argument?

You may have something here: I'm a 29 years old virgin (due to a combination of social ineptness and crippling OCD, mainly), and I'm twisted even by 4chan standards.
Bishop O'Donoghue is an old Catholic Bishop. They have one thing in common with young priests and regular children.
Absolutely no real life experience. They don't even live in the real world. Ya wanna listen to kids. that's your problem. They're not useful in any way
Confused?
