The purpose of the war should be to do what ever it takes to win, in the shortest possible time, which includes the elimination/killing of men, women and children associated with the threat, as was done in WW II. The war should be fought in a manner so as to minimize the men and material being consumed by the government. The war should be concluded only when the threat has been eliminated. Some say good people should talk with the enemy, but I believe the enemy should be talking with good people to convince the good people that the enemy should not be eliminated.

So you'd sanction, say, flying hijacked planes full of enemy civilians into buildings full of enemy civilians then? Is blowing up a nightclub full of threats to your beliefs is okay with you too? Or is blowing up yourself and a tube-train full of enemy commuters more your style?
Many people have claimed that the ends justify the means over the years. Quite a lot of them were tyrants or terrorists.
And, the Islamic extremists who believe the same thing, based on their holy book, what do you think of them? They want to destroy all who don't convert. That includes you, and all your fundie friends. They believe they are right and everyone else is wrong and any death of the Infidel pleases their god.
What is your definition of good people? Not that I don't already know, but it would be interesting to hear your spin on your hatred and bigotry.

So good people kill bad people is what you are basically saying? And the bad people need to beg for the mercy of the good person, who should be killing them remorselessly and completely unless they do so? If that is what good people do, I would just LOVE to hear what you believe constitutes evil.
By the way, what you have given here is basically the sentiment behind terrorist activity. I'm sure that you don't consider them to be the good guys, even though they take your message of desperation and self-righteousness to heart, and very much see themselves as good people who are threatened by Western society.

Yeah... I think you've missed a memo. They added an addendum to the Bible, called the New Testament. It's something of a radical departure, lots of stuff about "loving your enemy" and "blessed are the meek". You really wouldn't like it. I suggest sticking with the Jewish fundamentalism you're so comfortable with.

Paraphrasing the basic concepts from this fundie post:
Do whatever it needs, in the shortest possible time, no regard for any civil casualties, minimize men and material, concluded only at elimination of the threat. Talking with the perceived enemy is unneccesary. They may only be spared if they crawl before us.
When thinking this madness to the end in all consequence, this would mean immediate and unrestricted use of nuclear weapons, completely destroying any nation that is even marginally a perceived threat, and which does not lick the boots of the "good people"
As any nation may become a kind of threat, this would mean to nuke everybody else on this planet, any diplomacy is unneccesary.
