Actually Indians are obsessed with cleanliness. After all you have to take a shower in the morning before prayer. So technically a very clean group of people

Childish! We smell differently because of our consumption of curry. The spices we use changes our body chemistry enough to just make us smell different. We are aware of this so we take showers and use other things to make us smell nice. Such as wearing flowers in our hair and or use of nice smelling oil or in the mordern day deodorant and aftershave. However its freaking curry. Its a damn sight tastier than borscht in any case. And its healthier for you since we learnt how to cook vegetarian food and make it delicious.

Actually its a double derivation from Romany. Infact if you wish to use their older name, its Strigani from the Byzantine "atsinganoi". They came as slaves, mercenaries and travellers to the west.

No they are not. Genetically they show markers that tend to be found in India.
As for their contribution to European society. I suggest you listen to Liszt and Brahms, who cited the "strigani" as musical inspiration. Bolero and Flamenco are roma origin dances. Hell most of Romanian and eastern european music was influenced by them since they were originally a mix of soldiers, dancers and temple musicians.
It is utterly tragic how these people are treated. And hell I can dodge the racism they face by claiming to be Indian. They cannot.
