Heros of the Cultural War
There is a cultural war in America between Christians and Atheists. This war is being fought on the battlefield of politics. The battles are in the voting booth. The prize in the cultural war is the hearts, minds and souls of the children. The Atheistic liberal news media greatly influences both domestic and foreign policy by constantly reporting only bad news about Christians, Conservatives and Republicans and only good news about atheists, liberals and democrats. The agenda of the Atheistic liberal news media is to promote extreme environmentalism, socialism, feminism, pornography, abortion, homosexuality and the Atheistic Lifestyle by having democrats in control of government.

Yeah...you vastly overestimate the influence that actual atheists have in this country. The battle isn't between Christians and Atheists...it's between moderates and extremists, love and hatred, between war and peace, between tolerance and ignorance...these are things that should not be bounded by religious lines...unfortunately, at least in your worldview, they are...
Just a simple question, genius, kids can't vote, how can they "win" the hearts of the kids?, first they'll have to win those of the adults around, don't you think?(besides, it's what all sane people have done for ages, to instruct future generations). And reporting news that only make Christians look bad?, ask any muslim or Jew or Atheist............they don't need to look bad, they're bad.
The major newspaper where I live is The Washington Post, which you people think of as the ne plus ultra of the liberal MSM. Yet that paper devotes far more column space, and far more favorable reporting, to Christianity than to science and uncritically quotes the right-wing head cases on homosexuality.

Is this the same media that hounded the Clintons from the moment Bill was elected? The one that stood silent at the spending of millions and millions of tax dollars to try to impeach a President over an extra-marital escapade (which was obviously forgiven by his wife)? That same media that allowed the current Fundie president to lie through his teeth about going to war in Iraq with impunity, the one that essentially overlooked Georgie's relationship with such sterling members of the business community as Ken Lay, the one that could have raised a huge stink about the irregularities in the elections...the coincidence of Florida, with Georgie's brother at the helm...being the deciding state, the one that continues to promote the fiction that Americans are dying in Iraq for anything other than US control of the oilfields...you mean THAT "liberal" media?
See if you can get that other braincell fired up...
1. There IS no culture war. There are only fundies who want to start one.
2. Extreme environmentalism - Are you talking about ecoterrorist groups like the ELF? Yeah, us liberals don't like them either.
Socialism - Socialism is a bad thing? I'd agree that Marxist communism is a bad thing, but democratic socialism? What's wrong with that?
Feminism - Women should be equal to men. Any other situation in America would be a violation of the spirit of freedom this country is built on.
Pornography - The alliteration that comes to mind here is "priggish Puritan prude."
Abortion - Not ABORTION, dumbass, a woman's choice to have an abortion! I actually think it's wrong, but I also think that it's a woman's personal decision that the government has no right to make for her.
Homosexuality - The homosexuals I know are good people. Most often, they're fun to be around and personable. What they do in bed is their own business.
Atheistic lifestyle - Doesn't exist, fundtard. Atheists live all sorts of lifestyles. It's just that those lifestyles don't happen to include going to church on Sundays.
You're taking some pretty big leaps there, cilrus.
There is no "atheistic lifestyle".
It's amazing how you people create things out of your imagination. Then again, you're trained to do that, aren't you?
I see... so, Eliot Spitzer is a Conservative Christian Republican, and John McCain is a Liberal Atheist Democrat.
Thanks for clearing that up, clueless.
Yeah, right...all the newspapers, radio stations, and TV stations are owned by left-wing atheists, who don't have a vested interest in making money.
Let's see-
1) Environmentalism- the belief that maybe we shouldn't treat the only world we have to live on like our own personal toilet.
2) socialism- did you know that Social Security is a type of socialism? What or who will support you when you retire and still need money coming in to take care of the bills?
3) feminism- the shocking and heretical idea that maybe women aren't cattle to trade os sell like a used car? Or that maybe women are more than just walking vaginas and might just be intelligent and have something to contribute to society?
4) pornography- sex is a normal part of life and no- masturbation won't make you go blind or give you hairy palms.
5) abortion- realistically, who has sex just to make a baby? Sex feels good and so people enjoy it. Some people aren't able or ready to bring a baby into thir life. It's sad to have to abort a fetus, but whaddaya gonna do?
6) homosexuality- leave the gays out of this- the gay guys I love to hang out with are funny, charming, and intelligent, which is a lot more than I can say for you. (I am a confirmed Fruit Fly and/or Fag Hag).
Did you see what they did with the Iraq war!? They were so critical of the glorious president's policies, the bastards! Not one of them interviewed anyone who supported the war, all of them reported unproven or simply false information from the obviously biased Iraqi govenment, and they all simultaneously launched barrage after barrage of personal attacks on the president's motives for launching the war.
Wait a second...
"extreme environmentalism"
Always recycle...TO THE EXTREME!!!
I have to go now, my planet needs me.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
