Quote# 36789

I have just a fundamental understanding of science, with a B.S. in nursing. During my course study we touched on molecular biology. The pure evolutionist contends that coming from amorphous gas, matter, and basic elements, somehow, the most simple form of life came into being, the amebia. The missing link, in my mind, is how life progressed from something like an amebia, which doesn't have a cell nucleus to a cell with a nucleus. If one understands how complicated the nucleus of a cell is, which we are still trying to understand on the molecular level; this is what the evolusionist has to answer. Furthermore, the nucleus of more advanced cells are involved in Dna synthesis and Dna and Rna replication. It would appear that these processes are the most complcated coding systems on the planet and isn't there always intelligence behind coding

It's amazing that someone could demonstrate such a lack of understanding in one paragraph.

'Amebia'? Is that a planet somewhere in the Andromeda Galaxy?

Evolution is not about how the first living organism came to be. You fail.

If chessercat had a BS in nursing she would have more then touched on molecular biology.

Amoeba? They are eukaryotes, they have a nucleus... idiot.

I have just a fundamental understanding of science, with a B.S. in nursing. During my course study we touched on molecular biology.

I point out the operative of fundemental

The pure evolutionist contends that coming from amorphous gas, matter, and basic elements, somehow, the most simple form of life came into being, the amebia.

Er... No. The most basic form of life is bacteria. Amorphous? Matter is not amorphous.

The missing link, in my mind, is how life progressed from something like an amebia, which doesn't have a cell nucleus to a cell with a nucleus. If one understands how complicated the nucleus of a cell is, which we are still trying to understand on the molecular level; this is what the evolusionist has to answer.

Amoeba have nuclei... Its quite simple. Phospholipid cell membranes automatically form a proto nuclei and invaginations of cell membrane increasing the surface area. If the invaginations fail then the bacterial has a nucleus. It occasionally occurs.

Furthermore, the nucleus of more advanced cells are involved in Dna synthesis and Dna and Rna replication. It would appear that these processes are the most complcated coding systems on the planet and isn't there always intelligence behind coding

No its not that complicated. Its really simple... I would draw you a diagram but I would have to staple it to your hand to teach you a lesson in biology.

That has got to be the highest density of misunderstandings in a paragraph I've ever seen.

I would really not want this woman providing any medical treatment for me!

Did she get her BS in nursing from the same trailerpark that Kent Hovind got his degree from?

1) The amoeba, a eukaryotic protozoan is not the simplest form of life. Bacteria lack a nucleus entirely and therefore would be classified as "simpler".
2)There is no such thing as DNA synthesis, DNA is replicated from pre-existing DNA prior to cell division.
3) The nuclei of all cells are involved in DNA replication and the transcription of mRNA and bacteria even do it without a nucleus. All cells need to be able to pass on their genetic information and code for protein synthesis not just "more advanced ones"
4) Please take a course on evolution
5) Don't ever, ever be my nurse

Sweet Zombie Jesus, I hope chessercat (did he mean Cheshire Cat?!) is never a nurse in any hospital I should ever need to visit. Judging from this paragraph he really wasn't paying attention at all in school.

I have a B.S., too. Also an M.S. and a Ph.D.

B.S., you know what that is and M.S. is More of the Same
and I have it Piled Higher and Deeper. So there.

An amoeba is not the simplest form of life. Compared to most bacteria it's quite advanced. The first bacteria were so simple they make E. Coli look good.

We learned that amoebas have a nucleus in middle school science class. And also the basics of evolution. It's not hard to grasp.

For someone claiming to be educted in the field of medicine, this is a lot of fail.
