I am the product of billions of years of evolution, with my distant descendants being even more evolved than I am.
That actually sounds more appealing to me than believing I was made from a pile of dirt, and that my species won't evolve any further.
(We're fucked-up enough as it is. I refuse to believe Homo sapiens are perfect as they are.)
