We keep hearing from atheists that they are not a movement and that "atheism is not a belief system" but merely the denial of a belief in God. So isn't it interesting that we now have atheist books, atheist magazines, atheist conferences, atheist organizations, atheist Sunday schools, an atheist radio show, and so on? Quite clearly atheism has become an ideology and our atheist friends cannot escape criticism by inanely proclaiming that their position doesn't constitute a position. Perhaps one of these days these characters will stop living in denial and prove worthy of the rational realism that they claim to uphold.

And seriously, atheist sunday schools? I'm sure it exists somewhere, but I can't for the life of me imagine more than a handful of people going there. So I'll do you a favor. I will keep not judging all Christians because of a select few nutjobs, and you can refrain from judging atheism as a whole because a very small number of people go to atheist Sunday school?

@Zabimaru: Excellent point. Maybe I have a real point when I tell snoopy Christians that I attend "the Church of the Checkered Flag" every Sunday!
We must also consider that this is the guy who wrote an entire book saying that the way to stop Muslim terrorists is...to think and act more like Muslim terrorists. (That is, shitcan any advances by women and sexual minorities, censor our media, silence atheists, etc.)

We don't clan together in ritual, we don't demand thousands of acres of tax-free land, we don't petition the goverment for (even more) favored status, we don't insist all must be like us.
in other words, no relation to religion or an agenda of indoctrination. We react to religion, the times you hear Atheists join in voice are always the times religion attacks our rights to be free of their shit.
The sports-fan analogies here are a much better comparision even with the secular nature of them.
