But if you believe in the christian god, then you believe that men lived to be 900+ years old in the bible. How is 90+ years old living longer? According to your own numbers that is a decrease. Accept god indeed.

I'd rather be immortal and also still alive, which yours doesn't allow. I'll be doing science, and will still be alive. I'll feel fantastic, and will still be alive. And while you're dying, I'll still be alive. And when you're dead, I will still be alive.
...I'll also be knocking that off now. =3

No, because there is no God to bestow the gift. Just like Santa doesn't really leave those presents, or the tooth fairy isn't really gonna leave money under your pillow.

Of course it would be much simpler. But lets leave that to the religious who have faith in said being and the gift. And to stop trying to push it onto others who dont believe... dont want to believe... dont HAVE to believe... dont CHOOSE to believe and who will NEVER believe just because you continue to INSIST that is the true way they should follow. God gave us free will remember? So let them have their free will as they let you have yours. Hmmmn?

"A much simpler method for attaining immortality would be to accept God's gift of eternal life, hmmn?"
And why do we have to die before we can attain this 'eternal life', hmmmmmmm? Wouldn't becoming immortal whilst still being alive now be simpler?
If this so-called 'God' of yours can't do such a simple thing, then he's not omnipotent. Therefore he's not God. Ergo, he doesn't exist..
QED.

You have no idea just what "eternal" really means, do you?
