I bet you'll be afraid as I shove you towards the flaming pit. You might even be afraid enough to renounce your faith and convert. I also imagine you'll be a bit resentful at having to either suffer horribly or believe what I want you to believe.

Cthulthu just wants to be obeyed. Obey him or suffer.
