Quote# 3782

There is no question that [Stephen] Hawking's is a brillant man. The question then is, did he use what God gave him to honor or glorify God or not? Most people I believe would say that Hawking's does nothing to honor God... No one objects to Hawking's thinking. Nor do they think his ourward appearance has any connection to his thinking. But that is not what the Bible says: 'as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he'.

I can't help but notice how it is science, that keeps Stephen going and going, like that pink rabbit...

Um . . . if you're a Christian, wouldn't one of the best ways to honor and glorify God be to study the universe you believe he created? By studying this glorious creation of God and trying to understand it, isn't he doing more to glorify God than someone who sits around praying all day and doesn't look at the wonders of the universe that your God created?

If God exists and created the world, Stephen Hawking has done a whole lot more to honor God than you, JohnR7, ever have. (And, probably ever will.)

Still trying to justify your hatred, John? We're not buying it. It's a vile attack for no reason. A person can be good or bad, and a person can be healthy or disabled. Wow, it's just as if....as if there was no connection whatsoever between them.

But that is not what the Bible says: 'as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he'.

And yet you haven't melted down into a pile of worthless vomit and feces. I guess that's just one more item to add to the rather lengthy list of things that the bible's demonstrably wrong about.
