Quote# 3787

No, I would not vote for an atheist. It is sin as God requires, just men who will rule in the fear of God to sit in the seats of Justice.

For Whom The Bell Tolls

We voted for a christian in the last election and look what happened.

Funny, it seems that this guy is the only one who said no. Almost everybody else in the thread said they would vote for an Atheist. I guess Theology Web isn't as fundie-ridden as they first appeared to be.

EDIT: Wait, there are a few others who said no. But still, it seems the majority have no problems with an Atheist leader.

Seats of Justice. Now that's a laugh.

"It is a sin as God requires" - wait, what? God requires sin? Ah, but of course. How else is the giant boogeyman in the sky supposed to instill fear in the peons if not for the fanatical watching, waiting, sitting there with his finger on the "Hellfire forever" button, if not for "sin", all that stuff "The Man" wants to control?
