Yep, abort them all before they have a chance to be born with sin so they can all go directly to heaven where they'll be given teeny, tiny little harps and angel-wings. Glory!

solomongrundy said, "As far as I know 'Original Sin' is a standard belief in all forms of Christianity. Belief in original sin is completely irrational of course, but if you call this fundie then all Xians are fundies."
No, just the ones who actually believe this irrational shit literally and try to force that belief on other people. The ones who recognize it as mythology and metaphor are not fundies ... a bit intellectually dishonest perhaps, but not fundy.

Why is God such a fuckwad, to keep blaming all these generations because of Adam's moronic behavior? That's what I want to know. You'd think he'd let a few people catch a break once in a while. But nooooo, instead it's all sadism and grudge-holding. How much more of an ass than a complete ass does this fuck want to be?

@JES
There are Christians who don't think mankind is inherently sinful? Wouldn't that make Jesus's sacrifice a bit redundant?

It's idiots like this that really give Christians a bad name. Most Christians believe there is an age of accountability where a person becomes responsible for their actions and it certainly isn't infancy.
Remember though, that this is Rapture Ready. If you think READING their posts are frustrating, you should try posting there. I was a member for a while and I've never seen such blantant censoring of a person's thoughts in my entire life. If you don't follow the company (read: administrators) standard lines of replies, you can guarantee your post will either be censored or removed altogether. Rapture Ready should more accurately be title "Rapture Retarded".
There was time when it was decent place to discuss ideas. The RR Bulletin Board was a seperate entity from the main RR site, and owned by a different person, but Todd "The Dictator" Strandburg decided to fire the entire administration staff and tried to make off with the donation money to fund his own website (The Rapture Ready you are familiar with). Now it's run by a bunch of no-mind retards that curtail any open discussion. It's really sad.

But Jesus died for those sins. You're contradicting the Bible.

Oh please... Will you read and understand your Bible before swallowing up wholesale any crap you pastor says?
If your whole family is killed by a man, would you hunt down and persecute not only that man, but his kids, grandkids, grand-grandkids, and so on down the ages? If not, why not? They had nothing whatsoever to do with the original crime, of course. It's that simple.
Do you realize this is acting in a better, more moral way than your eternally vindictive Gawd who condemned all to Hell because of Adam and Eve? He's in fact acting just like Greeks gods, among others (take Aeschylus' tale of Orestes, for instance). Multi-generational atonement of sins and crimes was quite common in the ancient world but we've somewhat improved in mercy since then, as the Old Testament shows.
Just read Ezekiel 18:20 : "The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him". Try to square that verse with Original Sin...
When he tried in The City of God, if I'm not mistaken, to justify Jesus' sacrifice by considering it atonement for Original Sin transmitted down the generations by boinking (yup, that's where the idea comes from!), it seems St. Augustines forgot to read his Bible.

Says you.
My beliefs say that babies start with a blank template in terms of morality. Recent studies suggest that a person's morals are largely in tune with their parents', so if the parents are immoral, then their children will be for at least part of their lives.
