Assuming it all did happen by Random Mutation and Natural Selection, where did the laws of gravity come from. Where did the laws of thermodynamics come from? Where did the laws of motion and, of heat come from?

One more time you frigging moron, Ben.
None of those things work the way you are trying to claim they do.
As for the Motion, heat, etc: physics. Try learning about them.
What does Random Mutation and Natural Selection have to do with gravity, thermodynamics, motion, and heat? They are not related whatsoever. FAIL!
Boy another classic right-wing fundie and neo-con political debate tactic. Play on the stupidity, bais, and short attention span of your audience. If A=B, then where did apple pie come from? Where did chevrolet come from? Where did North and South Korea come from? If you sound indignant enough the sheep will believe you scored a hit when you missed by an entire solar system. Hey it works for Rush Dimbulb, Babble O'Really, and Mike Slaveage!
The laws you state are the laws of physics. They would exist even if there wasn't one living creature in existence.
@ Captain Janeway:
Stein openly admitted he did the movie because he needed the cash. He called himself "A foolish old man who will do anything for a buck". Stein is actually a lot smarter than this, that's why I won't forgive him.
"Assuming it all did happen by Random Mutation and Natural Selection, where did the laws of gravity come from. Where did the laws of thermodynamics come from? Where did the laws of motion and, of heat come from?"
Why would you think any of those have anything to do with natural selection or genetic mutation?
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Epic Fail!
Ben, baby, they're not like "No Jaywalking" laws. They're scientific theories based on observation and testing. We refer to them as laws because what they describe occurs consistently. And what in the hell they have to do with evolution I'll never know.
No one made the laws, we just discovered them, experimented with them, and confirmed them. These "laws" have existed longer than we have so we cannot see the source (we can't find any gravity fossils, or heat fossils, We just can't say about the source, so as far as our observable reality is conserned, they have always existed.
we don't live in teh matrix. Nobody programmed the laws of physics. Like all the energy/matter in thw universe they simply exist and we try to understand them. The notion you're proposing, that god did it, is akin to saying, 'this is complicated, I give up' and is why nobody listens to you.
Wow! Congratulations Ben Stein! You have defeated us with your cunning logic. We bow down to your superior logic. We will stop playing God and listen to you from now on. How you found out our darkest secret, I will never know. We have been vanquished. Oh woe is me, our widows shall wail and gnash their teeth and sing laments as they leap towards the pyres. NOW WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT OF THE EPISCOPALIANS!!!
Naturally Evolution cannot explain gravity, thermodynamics, motion and heat. In the same way a doctor cannot understand electric wiring diagrams... They are different sciences.
From God, why not?. Science doesn't mingle with that. What they're sure of, however, it's that it didn't happen in 6 days.
where did the laws of gravity come from. Where did the laws of thermodynamics come from? Where did the laws of motion and, of heat come from?
We don't know and you don't either.
Cheese and crackers, are you serious!
Oops, I dropped my beer. That might account for the puddle and glass on the floor, but it doesn't explain why radishes are red and poop stinks. Why not? Huh?
I smell the acrid stench of home schooling.
Where did the laws of motion and, of heat come from?
Good grief, man. You may sell your soul all you want, but please don't sell your grammar.
The Laws were all compiled by scientists, to describe the world around them.
All the evolution happened by Mutations and Natural Selection, not gravity thermodynamics, motion or heat.
Just because all the clothes in a department store are made of cloth, does not mean all the hardware in the same department store are also made of cloth.
The tempus is wrong, Benny. It IS happening, the Random mutation and Natural Selection, i.e. diversification and evolution.
The laws themselves came from humans observing these rules. Most of the rules were probably already in place long before life was around, to be diversified.
Evolution =/= abiogenesis
The laws came from humans identifying the processes. The processes themselves were probably in place before life began on Earth (after which evolution could begin). You do know that evolution is only about the diversity of life, not the origin, right?
Right?
In a universe under the influence of gravity, thermonuclear forces and changing but predictable interactions did the Physical laws come from?
"Stein openly admitted he did the movie because he needed the cash. He called himself "A foolish old man who will do anything for a buck". Stein is actually a lot smarter than this, that's why I won't forgive him."
Agreed, he sold out and Ben Stein is hardly ever been hurting for money in the real world sense. I mighta held him in more esteem had he mentioned this shortly after the movie but Ben actively promoted that nonsense for months. He went on religious programs and REAL TV talk shows and spouted creationist strawman arguments like above for quite awhile.
He is definately smart enough to know he was talking shit.
And where did your god of the gaps come from?
I suggest reading on the big bang, on abiogenesis, then on evidence of evolution. But not from religious and pseudoscientific sources that are part of your misleading antiscience tradition...
Confused?
