Of course we realize that we will never win because there will always be too damn many idiots like yourselves.

For you it's a no-win situation. Because if they had said "yes, we'll win", you'd have reacted like the way you do with the muslims, accusing them of integrism. And you're unable to look yourself at the mirror.
That a person says it's going to happen, doesn't mean that it will have to happen. And besides, that you're so desesperated for that(instead of comforting yourself with being good Christians regardless of numbers)speaks loud of your frail faith.

Atheists don't care about being on the "winning" side, so I think Morrell is just making up bullshit.

I'm a Christian, but I'm not (quite) arrogant enough to claim that it's correct beyond a shadow of a doubt. Therefore, I wouldn't claim it certain that Jesus will one day win all of His fights.

Atheists aren't some organization intent on overthrowing organized religion, last time I checked.

We won't often answer "yes" because we refuse to delude ourselves into thinking the world will ever be rid of morons.

I believe with time and increase of knowledge religious people will start to become a minority. But that's a long time from now.

I'm going to quote mine this. Fundies don't seem to have a problem with quote mining, claiming ti deosn't change the context of what the person was saying (check out the start of Ray Comfort's book). So he should be fine with this quote:
"...I often fail..."

I was watching a discussion with a few atheists recently, and it brought up something that I often fail to remember. The question was asked if the atheists believed that atheism would ever be spread across the world, if they would ever "win" all their fights. Half of them said, "No, but I think it's something worth fighting for," and the others answer something close to "With time, we might win." There was no "Yes, our cause will win."
If someone asked you, "Do you think one day, Allah will be known across the world, will win all His fights?" how would you answer? I hope you'd answer with a plain and simple "Yes" because that's the truth. So remember, next time you think you've lost or think there is no hope in winning, those thoughts shouldn't endure for long because we're on the winning side.
Fixed.

I don't know a single atheist who believes themselves to be in any kind of battle to "win". It is you fundies who think it is a contest; people who don't believe in your god simply don't believe.
I'd like to know who these so called atheists are that you were listening to. I don't believe for a second any of it was real. Most likely all in your head and you are, typically, lying for jesus.

So, in summary: "We'll win because we're right, and we're right because we say we are."
*sigh*
At least his logic, though circular, is internally consistent...

I wouldn't put money on it. A lot of the faiths that are now called pagan have long since collapsed, and the televangelists of yours are already hard at work.

If someone asked you, "Do you think one day, Jesus will be known across the world, will win all His fights?" how would you answer?
I'd say "Who in hell is 'Jesus'?" Like 2/3 of the world's population even after 2,000 years of fundy propaganda.

Now that's some impressive brainwashing at work. Somebody from a death cult who thinks they are on the "winning" side.

I don't want to speak for all atheists, but I believe in the overwelming ignorance of people. That's hard to beat.

It's because atheists don't underestimate the stupidity of people whereas fundies rely on it.

I'd really like to know where this discussion happened. I have a hard time believing it really existed, especially with the fundie habit of constant lying.
Anyway, I'm sure almost everyone has heard about Jesus. 2/3 of the world completely dismiss the idea though. So I doubt he's winning. Then again if we're talking about "True Christians(TM)". About 99.999% of the world has either never heard of it, or rejected it.

Or it could be the atheists are realists and realize that an element of doubt and uncertainty accompanies everything, to the point that saying something is absolute is just CRAZY???
