I was watching a discussion with a few atheists recently, and it brought up something that I often fail to remember. The question was asked if the atheists believed that atheism would ever be spread across the world, if they would ever "win" all their fights. Half of them said, "No, but I think it's something worth fighting for," and the others answer something close to "With time, we might win." There was no "Yes, our cause will win."
If someone asked you, "Do you think one day, Jesus will be known across the world, will win all His fights?" how would you answer? I hope you'd answer with a plain and simple "Yes" because that's the truth. So remember, next time you think you've lost or think there is no hope in winning, those thoughts shouldn't endure for long because we're on the winning side.

For you it's a no-win situation. Because if they had said "yes, we'll win", you'd have reacted like the way you do with the muslims, accusing them of integrism. And you're unable to look yourself at the mirror.
That a person says it's going to happen, doesn't mean that it will have to happen. And besides, that you're so desesperated for that(instead of comforting yourself with being good Christians regardless of numbers)speaks loud of your frail faith.

Fixed.
I don't know a single atheist who believes themselves to be in any kind of battle to "win". It is you fundies who think it is a contest; people who don't believe in your god simply don't believe.
I'd like to know who these so called atheists are that you were listening to. I don't believe for a second any of it was real. Most likely all in your head and you are, typically, lying for jesus.
So, in summary: "We'll win because we're right, and we're right because we say we are."
*sigh*
At least his logic, though circular, is internally consistent...

I'd say "Who in hell is 'Jesus'?" Like 2/3 of the world's population even after 2,000 years of fundy propaganda.
I don't want to speak for all atheists, but I believe in the overwelming ignorance of people. That's hard to beat.
P.S. you're on that team.
I'd really like to know where this discussion happened. I have a hard time believing it really existed, especially with the fundie habit of constant lying.
Anyway, I'm sure almost everyone has heard about Jesus. 2/3 of the world completely dismiss the idea though. So I doubt he's winning. Then again if we're talking about "True Christians(TM)". About 99.999% of the world has either never heard of it, or rejected it.
1. The discussion with the atheists you mentioned sounds like bullshit.
2. I don't think atheists are trying to win any kind of battle. Even so, there are always going to be people who disagree. ALWAYS.
3. If you say Jesus is going to "win all his fights" and think that's the truth, you need to grow up and try to be a little more realistic.
If you ask a man who's being forced to repeatedly headbutt a brick wall if he'll ever knock it down, how do you think he'll react?
We accept that there are huge numbers of people who will never convert. You consider them 'right'. We consider them 'lost causes'.
Thinking you will win does not equal actual winning.
There are people in insane asylums right now, absolutely convinced they are werewolves. This does not, however, make that so.
And you, sir, will not win. Fail.
No, we're on the winning side.
It's just that we understand the power of human stupidity, how entrenched societal values and hang-ups can get, and about the law of diminishing returns.
There'll always be credulous morons who are scared of thinking.
Yeah, just keep telling yourself that. Christianity will fade away, along with all the other silly superstitions. It will never completely die, but people will be less and less prone to believe in stupid shit.
HUMILITY, MOTHERFUCKER! DO YOU PRACTICE IT?
/Jules did, and therefore did not get blown away with his own gun
Science, and therefore by definition, Atheism, has been winning since Galileo demonstrated the first telescope in 1609.
Previously, religion held absolute sway over much of the world, certainly Europe.
But with the inexorable march of technological & educational progress since the Renaissance - especially in the West, religion's hold on people has been like trying to contain fine grains of sand in one's hand - most of them will escape your grip.
Most of Europe today is secular (the Czech Republic is the least religious country here), and scientific development and thought prevails in much of the civilised world.
So yes, I'd say that we Atheists are winning.
Confused?
