NO "religion" can ever be truly sure they are going to heaven. Muslims and such have to do so many good deeds.. problem though: they never know how many, how often and such. Nobody paid the price for their sins in their "religion" so they have to make up for their sins with their good works. Well, if that's so, who makes the rules on what is good enough? Who makes the rules on which ones are the worst ones? Society? No, God does. God has Ten Commandments to tell us. Even Muslims know the Ten Commandments and realize they can never be good enough. ONE LIE sends people to hell (all liars will have their part in the lake of fire). ONE of any sin sends people to the fire.

So, basically, those "religions" will do no good on Judgement Day. That's one thing I've asked people who say, "well, I'm a Baptist and go to church sometimes" - I said to this one guy, "well, you walking into a Baptist church doesn't make you any more a Christian than it does me if I walk into McDonald's makes me a hamburger... so, when you stand before God on Judgement Day, what will you say... that He should let you in because you're a Baptist?" That got his attention; he walked off with a tract and realized he was not heaven-bound.

Anyway, my point is, many will say to Jesus on that day, "Lord, Lord" (they will actually CALL HIM LORD!) and He will say, "depart from Me you workers of lawlessness."

There are going to be a lot of "religious" folks who think they are going to heaven ending up in hell.
